Where do I start?...
The place breathes atmosphere like no other venue I've seen. The interior of the restaurant is... a wonderful mess. It's kitch in the positive sense of the word. It's a collection of every imaginable item, all packed on the walls, shelves, floor, and in between, It all just blows you away. It's a cacophony of visual experience. Check out the toilets - the urinals in the mens' section are old milk cans... There are old radios, TVs, clocks there... Rubber chickens and ducks on the walls. You name it - they have it all there. And more.
They play popular French songs for the guests - and the owner/chef/boss sings along to the microphone while cooking meat for the customers. The French folk join in. It's all crazy stuff.
The food... If you're not French you're in for a surprise. You get it mostly raw. My wife had duck "middle made" - it was raw AF. I had salmon - it was half raw. Be prepared for that. Or ask them to do it like no real French person would like it - very well cooked. It will break their heart, but I'm sure they will oblige.
This is no cheap restaurant - the prices are big-town, even though the place is tucked away in the middle of Bretagne's nowhere, But it's a special place that I will never forget.

Mon expérience : envie de boeuf... finalement, La serveuse nous explique les plats ... Mon choix se porte sur le homard... fille de poissonnière, je suis joueuse. Que dire.... Perfection... ambiance d'enfer... service chaleureux, sympa... hâte de revenir... merci

Le chef et son équipe son ultra accueillant, il y a une bonne ambiance et une magnifique déco vintage, pour ce qui ce passe dans l'assiette tout est parfait des olives de l'apéro au décollage dont Jérémy garde le secret...
Le service est à l’image du lieu : décalé et plein de personnalité. Les serveurs, tout comme « la patronne », nous accueillent avec un tutoiement amical et une bonne humeur communicative, rendant l’expérience encore plus agréable.
Côté cuisine, les plats sont généreux et savoureux.
La terrasse ombragée, idéale pour les repas en plein air, ajoute une touche bucolique à l’ensemble.
En résumé, La Java Bleue est un lieu où la convivialité, la bonne cuisine et l’originalité se rencontrent pour offrir une expérience mémorable. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir !
