The hotel has a very corporate vibe- there’s a conference centre that’s part of it and it definitely feels like it.
There’s a lack of attention to the details that make a comfortable stay and too much attention to superficial things: a cup and a small mug in our small room and just one tea bag, meanwhile the ‘look’ mimics a cool- funky modem hotel. No hair conditioner in the shower despite it being a spa hotel.
They’d do better to focus on those small details- maybe a selection of teas and milk in every room, a fluffy robe and conditioner.
The room was clean though and the bed comfy, the sheets and pillows were soft and there’s a room indoors for bike storage too.
The staff were reasonably helpful- we had booked online and the offer was car-park room with spa access, which on arrival transpired that offer didn’t exist and you can only have spa access with a sea view room. However they sorted it out and gave me spa access (had they not done that I’d have only given this one star and it really would have been poor value)
I popped down to the spa but didn’t end up using it as again it lacked the luxury of a spa and felt to me more like a corporate cheap copy of one (paintings of Buddha in the lobby aren’t enough for a zen experience) so I just had a very nice hot shower in my room.
Emplacement au calme très bon moment de détente et le personnel très agréable à refaire ☺️
