Not up to four star rating in some respects.
A wonderful location for a hotel with spectacular views. Reception staff very helpful and cheerful, nothing too much trouble. Bedroom a good size and in good order, window facing the Island of Brehat.
Unfortunately the hotel is let down by a distinct lack if maintenance to some of the outside areas of the building. The outside decking and furniture looks very tired and in need of refurbishment. The aluminium doors and windows that make up the restaurant are in a poor state of repair with most of the glazing units totally broken down and full of condensation.
The restaurant itself is definitely not worth four stars having very limited menu choices. A drive to Paimpol is the only way to increase dining options!
Some of the waiting staff could be more professional in their approach to customer service. A consistent dress code for the staff would create a better impression for guests.
Overall a pleasant stay but not the four star experience that we were hoping for.

We zijn er op 's avonds op restaurant geweest en kregen er op zijn zachtst gezegd bediening van mensen die nog geen klanten hebben gezien of gewoon hun zinnetjes aframmelen. De helft van hun kaart was er ook niet tijdens het begin van hun service en daar kwam ook een verwarde en onduidelijke uitleg over. Eerst dachten we dat het aan ons lag maar blijkbaar maar we hoorden het ook aan andere tafels. Ze profiteren duidelijk dat het het enige restaurant in de buurt is.

En revanche, pour le restaurant : FUYEZ!!!
Une salade perigourdine saveur vieux poisson; une pièce de viande au jus réduit goût croûte de fromage rance; pour finir en dessert un tiramisu à la fraise dont la crème (pas sûre que ce soit du mascarpone) avait la saveur d'un vieux frigo. On a renvoyé les plats. J'ai même demandé du pain et du beurre, histoire de manger un truc aprèsle dessert(renvoyélui aussi); ça n'a même pas fait réagir le serveur qui mécaniquement s'évertuait à demandé si tout était bien sans se soucier de la réponse !!
Fuyez!! Prenez un pique nique, trouvez un restau ailleurs mais ne mangez pas là !!

Des chambres de bonne qualité.
Marge de progrès : Un accueil aimable mais qui mérite d'être amélioré au niveau du renseignement notamment sur l'île de BREHAT. A noter toutefois l'intervention de la personne (un homme) en charge de l'accueil le soir du 16 juin qui nous a dépanné en montant à notre chambre pour débloquer la porte de notre salle de bains.
Très négatif : le dîner du 16 juin très médiocre qui s'apparente plus à un repas de cantine qu'à un véritable dîner dans un hôtel digne de ce nom (en tout cas, indigne d'un hôtel BEST WESTERN que j'ai l'habitude de fréquenter).
