The wine tasting was exceptional, featuring impeccable service and outstanding wines. We sampled nearly the entire wine list, including the prestigious Grand Cru and Sélection de Grains Nobles, providing a masterclass in Alsatian wines and terroirs. ( Since we bought a bottle, we were not charged for the tasting.) This ranks among the best experiences of our trip; my only regret was insufficient luggage space to purchase more wine.

コルマール近郊の村、Riquewihrの有名なアルザスワインのワイナリー。気前よくテイスティングさせてくれ、ゲヴェルツトラミネールの2012年を飲んだ時は、熟成された複雑かつ濃厚な甘さに感動。アルザスワインの真骨頂の一端を見ることができた気がした。また買いに行きたい。

Mais quelle belle dégustation ! Rendue possible par Loïc qui avec talent nous a expliqué le vignoble alsacien, la maison Hugel, les 7 cépages, les 51 parcelles et leurs grands crus. Le tout avec simplicité et la possibilité de tout déguster. Merci pour votre accueil sans rdv dans un lieu chargé d’histoire ( 12 générations depuis 1639).

Une expérience fantastique. Restaurant ouvert que pour nous. Une découverte de saveurs savamment préparé et présenté de manière originale. Un service discret mais sans faute. On sent la passion du chef. Je recommande vraiment ce restaurant.

Un grand merci pour cette dégustation malgré le fait que nous sommes arrivés avec une heure de retard
en effet, nous avons réservés sur Rue Des Vgnerons et malheureusement les plans de la journée n'ont pas exactement fonctionné!
On a quand même pu profiter de la superbe dégustation avec des vins juste exceptionnels
De quoi me (ré)concilier avec les vins d'Alsace

Bel endroit, le pinot noir était excellent dommage que je n’ai rien pu goûter d’autres, le monsieur était seul et courait partout, il a quand même pris deux minutes pour me parler du vin . Je suis reparti avec 3 bouteilles mais c’était très long.

Hoy hemos visitado varios pueblos de la Alsacia y queríamos probar los típicos vinos alsacianos. Nos dirigimos a este local y fuimos recibidos por un vendedor muy amable, le preguntamos por la posibilidad de hacer una cata de vinos variada y nos recibió con los brazos abiertos. Nos explicó cada uno de sus vinos, las variedades de uvas, el maridaje perfecto para cada uno de ellos… la cata es gratuita, pero es difícil no llevarte ninguno de los exquisitos vinos que tienen. Un 10!! Nos ha encantado.

Vini ottimi, ma personale sgarbato che ci ha fatto sentire a disagio. Il ragazzo ci è stato tutto il tempo con il fiato sul collo e, quando facevamo domande, rispondeva svogliatamente con poche parole e in modo arrogante.
Peccato, perché ci aspettavamo molto di più.

He tornat al celler després d’una experiència magnífica fa ja 5 anys; on ens va atendre un noi amb el que vam estar parlant estona, ens va explicar tot amb detall i ens deixava provar el que volíem. És per això que vam acabar comprant una bona quantitat de vins i súper contents.
Aquest any he tornat i no es mereixen més que una estrella. Els vins mereixen molt més, però l’experiència ha estat pèssima. Hem sentit que sobràvem, que no ens volien atendre i feiem nosa. I erem els únics a la botiga!
La noia fins i tot ens mirava malament quan li deiem de provar alguna cosa. Tot això tenint en compte que no són vins barats!
Haurien de fer un pensament i posar gent que tingui ganes de treballar de cara al públic. Una pena…

Na reservering een geslaagde proeverij gehad bij Hugel. Verschillende wijnen geproefd en enkele aangeschaft, bedankt voor de proeverij en ja, de pinot noir was zeker de moeite waard! ;)

Extensive tasting with a lot of grand cru, vendanges tardive and classic expression examples. We already liked Hugel but we had a chance to try many of them.

Expérience de dégustation exceptionnelle. Loic le sommelier est un puit de savoir qui sait transmettre sa passion aussi bien en français qu'en anglais. Nous n'avons pas été déçu et ne pensions pas en apprendre autant sur les vins de la famille Hugel.

Pour ce qui est des vins eux-mêmes, très bonne surprise également avec une variété de cépages qui plairont au plus grand nombre (pinot gris, Gewurtzaminer, pinot noir, riesling...).

The service lady was giving a vibe she was irritated that she had to be there and had little knowledge about wines, which affected the quality of the tasting experience. Apart from that, very good wines.

Nous nous sommes réfugiés initiallement dans ce lieu pour échapper à la pluie. Très bonne surprise car on nous a fait déguster 2 Riesling et 2 Gewurst accompagnés par des conseils d'experts de la sommelière.
Nous sommes repartis avec une douzaine de bouteilles et une nouvelle estime pour les vins alsaciens :)

Nice visit and tasting with Loic and a young Hugel (Marc?) a year ago. Today, back in California, enjoyed the Dry Muscat we brought home, with Asparagus and Shrimp Risotto, Heaven!

어머니 모시고 여행갔다가 우연히 와이너리가 보여서 평점 보고 들어갔었어요.

응대는 매우 친절했고 아마 비성수기여서 그런지 손님은 저희 밖에 안보이긴 했구요.

리즐링을 시음하도록 해주셨는 데 와인 싫다고 외치던 어머니께서 맛있다고 계속 더 드시더군요.

가족과 직장 동료들에게 줄 와인 여러병 구매 하였고 가격도 생각보다 많이 저렴했어요.

전 술을 별로 인좋아해서 사실 와인에 큰 관심은 없는 데, 주변 평가들 보면 좋은 와인 같았습니다.

친절한 응대와 품질 좋은 와인을 저렴한 가격에 구입할 수 있어서 만족했습니다.

Staff were rude and dismissive of our group. Perhaps they had a long day? Maybe they don't like tourists? We had a small group of 6 wine loving friends who came to the region for the very purpose of tasting and buying in multiple places. This was our one and ONLY stop in this town for wine, and we were treated poorly and with contempt.

While we did end up with a tasting, and we did buy some wine. Not as much as we could have or would have, because the staff were so rude!!! The experience was ruined by poor staff service and rudeness. We're an easy group to appease. In fact, many of us have lived in Europe collectively over 30 years. We know wine, we know customs, we have manners, and we know when we've been treated poorly versus misunderstandings. I'm sad because I've had to write this out and give a poor review.

It's a tourist town, it's a wine tasting room, be sure to hire good people! We took home cases of wine from other places. We live close enough to recommend people and travel back. We will not be recommending this place or revisiting.

This vignoble seems to be overrated. The staff was ok, speaking English which was nice. The wines are expensive, just one was special. You can make far better choice in Alzace.

Famille Hugel is a must if you love the wines of Alsace. We had an amazing tasting with Loic!
I am a wine professional and I have visited many wineries all around the world. This was definitely one of my best experiences: delicious wines, friendly people and a very professional tasting.
