Accueillis par la propriétaire, nous avons eu droit à une visite VIP pleine d'humour et de savoir par cette charmante vieille dame. Les collections sont époustouflantes et couvrent une période allant du xvii au xxeme siècle. Un moment fort de notre visite d'Avallon.

This is a true and original gem. The entrance is a bit hidden but one of the owners opened the door, as it turned out we were actually standing in front of the museum :-)

It is located in an old boys school and contains many rooms, all in original state, packed with old costumes, furniture and accessories dating back to almost 1700.

A must do and see experience when you're in Avallon!

A fascinating place to visit. If you are in the area don't miss it. Ring the bell and for 5 euros a personal tour with one of the sisters running and living in the the house. They were the stars of the show.

Une perle méconnue que cette collection privée très riche abritée dans une très belle maison du XVIIe siècle dans le vieux Avallon.
Les propriétaires vous accueillent avec énormément de gentillesse et vous guident avec passion dans cet écrin rempli de trésors.
