I’ve been to quite a few wineries/vineyards over the years in different countries and this experience was one of the best for sure. Had a truly wonderful time here with Matisse at a tasting and watching Anna entertain and teach a large group tasting. Matisse (and Anna) knows so much about the winery and the wines it was truly a pleasure to hear him (and her) speak. The passion they have is something special. The wines are really superb and consistently delicious. We also got to try wines I didn’t expect such as a Pinot Noir, and buy something we didn’t know about as it is not exported. We will return and we highly recommend if you’re in Alsace, come to this fairytale 400 year old winery and enjoy the hard work that is done by the wonderful people who create liquid gold in a bottle.

Unnachahmlicher Erzeuger von Elsässer Riesling aus den Kalksteinböden von Ribeauvillé, v.a. der strenge Clos St. Hune (71 und 89 sind noch immer großartig) und der beinahe ebenso gute Frédéric Emile (2010 und 2012) Trockene, elegante Weine für die gehobene Cuisine.

Prices vs quality was lost upon me here. I did get myself a bottle of Gurwerztraminer but for approximately 10 euro less could have gone to another cellar door for the same quality of wine.

Found it weird that the wine wasn't in the cellar door and staff had to leave to bring back your orders.

We came here after having a very discouraging wine tasting in Riquewihr, where they provided no suggestions or information on the wine. Arriving at Trimbach was a night and day difference. We didn't have an appointment but they were happy to help us. We were served 6 or 7 wines and loved all of them, it was impossible to choose one to buy. They shared some history of the winery, what makes the rieslings different and so on. We had so much fun and we are true Trimbach fans now!!!

L'accueil est top, le commercial connait son domaine, la dégustation est bien réalisée, n'hésite pas à vous faire découvrir un peu toute la gamme. Le lieu est joli. C'est cool à tester ! Évidemment, certaines bouteilles sont vraiment très bonnes.

Very unwelcoming experience from the beginning to the end. There are much more pleasant and welcoming places to taste the reference dry style Alsace wine. The wines are decent, but price levels reflect prestige and name, rather than intrinsic quality. Recommend against a visit here.

As 2 foreign, English-speaking & young tourists, we were super pleased with our experience here. We were offered a generous wine tasting and received a very friendly treatment from Matthias. We bought a single bottle (not much could fit in our suitcase), and they never made us feel like it's not enough or anything like that.

Note: it might be a bit tricky to actually find the tasting room as there are no large signs. You need to come through the main gate (which looks like an entrance for cars), and then go walk to the other side where there's a door with a small sign saying "tasting".

Die Weinprobe war sehr professionell und es wurde jeder Wein ausführlich erklärt. Hier kann man viel lernen. Die Weine sind sehr lecker und frisch.
