LOUISIANA CAJUN MANSION BED & BREAKFAST

From what my wife and I saw this was an incredibly unique and relaxing place. But, and this is a big “but”, this turned out to be a very busy venue and not a quaint B&B. While there was no false advertising, the advertising failed to mention several key items that you SHOULD know. 1) This “mansion” is a very nice, large, one-story residence, 2) in the middle of nowhere, 3) with a very busy venue of other, more priority plannings— wedding preparations, owner-travel-agent events, comedy club bookings, etc. so, 4) you get a private room with NOISE (which we had) and a crippled breakfast. Crippled breakfast, “What the heck is that?” It was an attempt at a breakfast— Keurig coffee, bottled water, inedible scrambled eggs and microwave pancakes… all served while night-before linens table were being folded in our dining room AND the floor was being mopped. Did I mention this is a HOUSE? Imagine having friends to your house, serving them a crippled breakfast and mopping the floor while they embarrassingly TRY to eat it!

Fantastic place to stay! The grounds and rooms are lovely, the staff is super friendly, the food was wonderful, and the location was so convenient. We had all the amenities we needed. Highly recommend and looking forward to staying here again.
