Stunning views of the valley.

Beautiful location in the honde valley. It’s worth the long picturesque drive. Lots of activities for the kids, from, swimming, to putt, putt, to walks to the falls, walks to the vegetable garden with pineapple plants, to the canopy tour, the art gallery, game room, billiards, ping pong, tea factory tour.We did it all. The kids loved it. Educational for kids.Lots to do. Friendly staff and well trained. The food was always good. A gem. Definitely going back.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Aberfoyle Lodge for a weekend, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience. The hospitality provided by Lloyd, Narine, and their dedicated team was truly remarkable. Oby, in particular, went above and beyond to cater to our every need, ensuring a memorable stay. The variety of activities offered added an extra layer of excitement to our getaway. The bumbslide and waterfall are a must-try for adventure seekers – we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Aberfoyle Lodge exceeded our expectations, making it a top choice for those seeking a memorable and adventurous retreat. Five stars without a doubt!
The rooms are so comfortable and although other guests moan about the lack of aircon it really is not needed. They are super comfortable with fans and you are in the middle of no where.
The grounds are well maintained and manicured. The soft furnishings are beautiful and all the history of the Igoes is superb.
The staff are committed, dedicated and friendly - the best I have come across in Zimbabwe in a long time.
Food is decent, of course can be better but very enjoyable.
Cannon, Tendai, Timothy and Morgan the bird man were sensational and a testament to the lodge. Will be back.
