This was the most horrible and terrifying Holiday Inn we have ever stayed in Europe. Firstly, when we checked in we were forced to pay a deposit. The whole Europe, only this hotel forced us to pay the deposit. Ok, no problem. The next day when checked out, we requested our deposit back. We were told that the staff yesterday did a mistake, actually don’t need a deposit. Asked us to wait until the deposit to be released. We demanded to be refunded, then the Manager(Mary) came out with a black face and not to help us solve the problem but asked us to shut up. The argument got heated, fortunately the kitchen’s staffs came out and try to comfort us and help us to talked to the “Manager “. Finally the staff in charged returned the charge slip and released the deposit. I guessed it is their tactic to cheat deposit from customers. Secondly, the bath tub is broken and not working. The shower head was sealed and cannot be adjusted. Air con was not functioning properly. Please avoid the Holiday Inn Mulhouse at all costs if you do not want to be robbed by the hotel staffs itself.

Stayed 1 night while in route to Milan. I found the hotel convient to the motorway and very good value for the money. Good customer service; excellent observation of IHG loyalty (which is not always the case). Parking in front of the hotel was plentiful but they also have a parking garage (paid).||Good points|- nice big room|- excellent observation of IHG loyalty. I would come back just for this)|- breakfast was plentiful and excellent regional fare (products).|- wifi was good.||Areas needing improvement.|- really none. The room we had could have uses a coat of paint in the bathroom. I do wonder how a previous guest could have marked up the wall the way they did.||Overall - great overnight stay and would book again.

Good stopover hotel, nice well appointed rooms. Secure underground parking (€15) or free outside (not secure). Suggest skip breakfast at the hotel, spread is good but so-so quality. Didn’t dine in restaurant so can’t comment.
