PARADOR DE ARTÍES ^{* * * *}

Bon ambient.
Habitacions rústiques però em va mancar algun servei bàsic.
Servei molt atent.

The rooms were comfortable. Food at breakfast was standard fare nothing flash. However, with 3 kids, we chose this hotel as it advertised a pool “climatización en los meses de invierno”. If 25 degrees is warm for you in winter, then you’ll have no worries. But this is colder than most public pools, and it was too cold for our family. Frankly it was cold and unpleasant. When we inquired if the pool could be hotter, they said no it’s impossible. They were nice about it. But at the end of the day a cold pool in winter is awful and we feel very deceived by the false claim. And needless to say, no one was using it so even the effort spent keeping it at 25 degrees is a waste of energy.

Now having looked through very old reviews - they know it’s cold but have done nothing about it for over 5 years!!

Probably more a 3 star hotel as much work needs to be be done.
