A really special place, although a little expensive for what it is. Your time there will very much depend on the other guests and the general vibe they set. Would be 5 stars if it wasn’t for the snorkelling trip… 40k pp for a 45 min trip to the worst snorkelling spot I’ve ever been. Really poor visibility and nothing interesting to see, way too expensive too. Enjoy it for free around the Casa instead ????

Le lieu est très sympa mais c’est un peu cher si on compare aux hôtels environnants. Par contre c’est une expérience unique. Merci encore à Jaffer et toute l’équipe !

Amazing experience! I was nervous about coming here based on some of the negative reviews, but they were way off. As long as you read their website and are prepared for roughing it a tiny bit with dry toilets, trickle showers, etc. You will have the time of your life. The plankton tour was otherworldly, the host makes sure the vibe is right and that the music is at appropriate volumes for the mood, so many friends were made, just a fantastic experience, 10/10 recommend.

Other things of note, the "bucket showers" are actually showers which trickle down which are really refreshing at night. The food was excellent every day (I was never worried about it making me sick). There are crabs/fish/lizards all around which is so cool. The hostel is set up to make friends, but I still found time to enjoy my book in peace. The music at night was turned down at a reasonable time, so sleeping was never an issue. Basically ignore the one star reviews from people who didn't know what they were getting into. Come and enjoy an incredible experience.
