Private room with shared (fair enough) shower and (dirty and smelly) squat toilet was 400.000 rials (can be negotiated 300.000).
Rooms are not clean (I asked for other sheets, still used my own ; trash bin not emptied ; don't even look under the bed), noisy (thin walls), hotel light comes in through partly glass doors. Only 1 shower and 1 toilet for about 15 people on my floor when full.
Staff speaks almost no English and does not understand the needs of foreign travelers (e.g. finding bus and taxi times, durations, prices).
I got proposed unsolicited sex and alcohol by another (local) client whom I had never seen before. Did not feel safe although room closes with key.
Initially looked better than Yemekhana Hatän but I'm not sure.
Decent wifi.
