We were there in March which is off season. We had a lovely room, very clean and in top condition. We were warmly greeted and told everything that we needed to know. Parking in back is easy and convenient. Corning is a beautiful town and it was great to be on the Main Street and just pop out to explore it.

This is a hidden gem in downtown Corning. Located above the business of Burgers and Beer. Take the stairway down and you are in the heart of the Gaffer District. Rooms are beautifully restored. Pictures are of room 3.

I stayed here during a July weekend in 2023. I recommend it. It looks like they are updating the mini-split AC units in the rooms which will be an improvement.
Noise should not be a concern the room was well insulated from the bar downstairs.

I Highly recomend. Everything you want in a room. Clean, and spacious. Great location right on main street. A very nice quite retreat at the end of the day.

Our room was wonderful, bigger than some apartments! Food at the restaurant downstairs was amazing. Parking a bit inconvenient, but not enough so to keep us from coming back. Would give more stars for room and service if we could.

We are from Toronto and stayed at the Gaffer last summer. i'm a bit late writing a review! We loved it there. Don't be put off by the fact there are only five rooms and it's above a restaurant. the rooms were as good or better than any Hilton and were well insulated and peaceful. the restaurant is also the front desk but again, don't be put off. the same person owns them both and runs both very well. for the cost of having to walk up one floor you get great accommodation right downtown - no need to drive anywhere.

Our room was clean, quiet, and cozy. We had 2 full beds, a kitchen, a TV, a fireplace, a desk, a couch, and a full bathroom. The inn is located right on the main strip. I can't wait to visit again.
