Overall good price for what you get. The staff was great and the property was nice with a great outdoor area with mattresses and hanging beds. Couple things that brought down the rating for me would be the mattress was really hard and uncomfortable and there was construction next door that we only found out about a couple of days before arriving even though it looks like they had been working on it for a little while. We had a room on the top floor which had a nice view of the ocean and a lovely verandah but keep in mind with straw roofs there can be little critters living inside. Absolutely amazing restaurant next door, The Wishing Tree, not on Google maps yet because it's new. There isn't a whole lot around pingwe but it's a nice place if you want quiet and relaxation. Paje has a bit more happening and more shops around, it's about 20min drive away.

Absolutely fantastic. Certainly our favorite out of the four places we stayed in Zanzibar. Staff superb. Breakfast great. Truly perfect.

Just watch out for Captain Octopus and his cronies on the beach (he is NOT affiliated with this guesthouse). We had $100 stolen from our wallet while we snorkeled off one of his boats.

Piękne miejsce w pięknej lokalizacji z jeszcze piękniejszymi ludźmi! Byłem na urlopie razem z żoną i z całego serca mogę polecić każdemu! Przepiękne miejsce, tuż przy plaży, bajkowe widoki, niczym z pocztówek. Obsługa zawsze życzliwa, uprzejma i pomocna. Całe miejsce ocieka powiedzeniem 'Hakuna Matata' i łatwo się zarazić tym sposobem myślenia co jest idealne na wakacjach.

Wir hatten eine wirklich tolle Zeit! Unser Bungalow war super, extrem sauber und die Rezeption jederzeit sehr hilfsbereit! Zum Frühstück konnte man täglich aus drei guten Gerichten auswählen. Die Bungalows sind traditionell gebaut aus natürlichen Materialen. Dennoch gab es keine Insekten in der Wohnung und jeden Abend wurde durch das Personal die Zimmer hergerichtet und gegen Mücken eingesprüht. Probleme mit Mücken hatten wir deshalb keine, es gab auch ein Netz über dem Bett. Die Duscharmaturen wurden erneuert. Es gibt keine Kochgelegenheit, weshalb man auf die tollen Restaurants in der Umgebung angewiesen ist, welche sehr gut sind, jedoch europäische Preise verlangen. Wir waren fast eine Woche vor Ort und hatten uns deshalb einen Roller gemietet, was über die Rezeption unkompliziert möglich ist. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Direkt am Strand, schöne Lage, 100 m zu The Rock Restaurant, günstige Rollervermietung, kein Abendessen, Frühstück direkt auf der eigenen Terrasse vorm Zimmer, Ameisen und Katzen auf der Terrasse, Bad wird beim Duschen überschwemmt - teilweise auch das Zimmer, Duschen auch nach Check Out möglich
