Très bon hotel????
J'ai adoré la nourriture, le staff vraiment adorable.
Aux alentours il n'y a pas grand chose mais c'est un bon endroit pour loger à Zanzibar pour un bon rapport qualité prix.
Les chambres je m'attendais à plus lumineux mais elles sont très grandes. Il mérite ses 4etoiles .

This resort is nice, well maintained,
Facility is well managed, great hospitality from staff,

Offering different rooms,

The best rooms to request is the pool view with the ocean view (2 in 1)

Rooms are air-conditioned, food is halaal

There is a bar onsite which serves alcohol and drinks and Shisha

The ocean, you cannot really swim in the ocean because of sea urchin which makes it difficult to swim in.

Food is amazing, catering different styles, from continental to Indian food, offering a full buffet

There is a gym onsite with a Spa area,

Booking tours or hiring a car with the hotel is extremely expensive, best is to negotiate with the local people to get the best value for money. Don't settle on one price, negotiate for a better deal,

To get to the airport from this location is a 1 hour 30 minute drive

We stayed at the Azao Resort and Spa for a week during peak season in December/January. It was one of the greatest experiences ever.

We arrived close to midnight and were greeted by friendly staff with complimentary drinks and fruit. Overall the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The resort self is very beautiful, easy to navigate and peaceful. One thing to keep in mind is that the beach is not really a swimming beach with a lot of rocks and sea urchins. Plus, it was low tide most of the time causing the water to recede most of the day. So if you want a place where you can swim a lot in the ocean at your resort I would suggest that you search for another resort.

I would definitely recommend staying here.

Staff is super friendly, and the rooms can do with a bit of renovation. No beach access. Hotel charges 5% for card payments.

Absolutely amazing time at Azao. The staff were wonderful, friendly & so welcoming. They went over and above for us. The food was amazing & we received entertainment on Saturday night which was fun, in addition to a Fifa World Cup viewing with complementary drinks & snacks. The rooms were spacious & comfortable. Pool was warm & bar service was wonderful. Highly recommend this place!

L’hôtel est très sympa mais loin de tous, donc Isolé .. les chambres sont spacieuses, le personnel très sympathique et respectueux et gentil mais les points Négatifs sont :: pas de plage, mais surtout le buffet du soir est médiocre si vous allez dîner après 20h il y a plus rien ???????? donc il faut râler pour obtenir a Manger..déjà la wifi ne fonctionne pas bien et pas de Wifi les après midi je pense qu il la Coupe!!! L’hôtel fait des Économies sur notre dos ???? alors que nous avons réglé pour un 4 ???? …

Great service, great staff, great view, great food. The ideal location for your honeymoon, retirement beginning, for rest. The beds are soo soft and you will sleep all night. If you are a light sleeper take a room with the garden view so the waves do not wake you.

It was so beautiful. I loved it. There was a low tide so the beachfront was a let down. They have a pool by the bar, boutique, rooms are lovely, service is first class. Buffet is US$25/ head. It was heaven. I loved it. We got complementary chilled Hibiscus juice on arrival.

The rooms are neat, well aerated with a great view of the ocean...atleast for my room. The meals are very well prepared to your taste. Serene environs perfect for a family holiday or honeymoon. Friendly people who are proficient in swahili but some how struggle to communicate in English.

We came here for our honeymoon and by far it was the worst experience we could ever have, it’s away from everything else in the world u cannot have a grocery for water or any restaurant for food, and the food they have in the restaurant is very limited and cold and old and you ask for anything in the menu they will tell u they don’t have so it’s like you’re stuck u cannot go outl or have anything and we came like 3 hours earlier then our check in time they charged us 20 usd and they are so pricy for nothing tbh i don’t recommend this yo anyone seriously don’t go if u don’t want to ruin your vacation

The place is spacious and nicely located next to the ocean, but the rooms and bathrooms can be improved. You are charged 5%extra for paying with a card. The place is far from the beach or town, and it is surrounded by villages. I can’t say I didn’t enjoy my stay, but I am definitely not going back.
