What an amazing find in this small village! Looks like a pub from the outside but we were floored when we walked in - elegant dining room, opening out onto a beautiful terrace garden. Much bigger inside than we imagined. Quaint handwritten menus, with good variety across meats (beef, calf), fish, vegetarian. Also seasonal asparagus specials, and a 4 or 6 course surprise menu (great value at EUR 42 or 60). I won’t spoil it for you but I had the fish surprise and my husband the meat surprise: portions are generous across every course and we were stuffed afterwards. There’s also a kids menu: good value at EUR 20 for starter, main, ice cream. Desserts are also amazing! Service was warm and friendly, and patient with our bad French! The restaurant was full so better to make a reservation. Easy to find car parking right outside the restaurant.

Ein Restaurant der Extraklasse, wunderschön mit Liebe und elegant dekoriert, das Menu surprise war ausgezeichnet wie auch die anderen Speisen, absolut zu empfehlen! Auch die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich… ???? wir kommen bald wieder!

Dommage que tout le repas n'était que tiède, le plat de poisson, riz et pommes frites. Le dessous de plat pas chaud et les assiettes froides....je pense que le service de ce restaurant n'est pas prêt à midi.....un dimanche

Un superbe surprise. L’ambiance est vraiment fabuleuse, la décoration est vraiment magnifique. Nous avons vraiment très bien mangé pour un prix raisonnable par rapport à d’autres restaurants du coin qui font beaucoup moins bien. Tout le personnel était également d’une grande gentillesse. J’y retournerai et je recommande vivement.

Si vous chercher une expérience culinaire de qualité dans un cadre charmant ce resto vaut le détour. Restaurant mit sehr freundlichem und gutem Service. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist sehr gross und der Service freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Lokal ist immer sehr schön und liebevoll dekoriert. Am schönsten ist allerdings das Ambiente im Sommer im Garten. Wir kommen immer wieder sehr gerne zu Ihnen.

It was an experience that made us glad our car broke down. Your hospitality, food and wine were excellent. The only sad part for me was that I forgot to take the brand of your wine. I would definitely like to visit on my next trip to France!

Wir danken für die Gastfreundschaft,das gute Essen und den jungen Schwung, der in der romantischen Ambiente mit Liebe zum Detail einem 1.Hilfe Service durch die Autopanne uns sogar neue hilfreiche Freunde bescherte. Was für ein schöner 1.Advent trotz der Autoproblematik.Wir kommen gerne wieder um Eure Terrasse und den Innenhof bei Wein und Savoir Vivre zu genießen.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Selten haben wir so leckeres Essen genießen dürfen. Auch der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Da wir alle kein Französisch sprechen, wurden wir sehr freundlich von deutschsprachigem Personal bedient. Da es zu einem gesundheitlichen Problem kam wurde auf sehr angenehme Weise Hilfe angeboten. Ich betone ausdrücklich dass die Ursache nicht durch die Speisen im Restaurant verursacht wurde. Das Restaurant haben wir zufällig entdeckt und wir möchten gerne wieder einmal dort das Essen genießen. Vielen Dank für den angenehmen Aufenthalt.
Auch die Räumlichkeiten haben sehr viel Charme. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt wieder auf den nächsten Besuch.

Wir hatten das surprise menu: suppe fad. Fisch viel zu lange erhitzt. Käse langweilig. Dessert irgendein Eiweissschaum mit Vanille. Nein, das war alles OK aber kein Genuss.

I have been to this restaurant a few times and the service has declined badly.
1.Wait times for service is ridiculous
2. Service is terrible and slow
3. Unfortunately as much as I hate to use the race card I feel service has been race driven.
I have been here 3 time and I have had the same experience. We have been treated and serviced badly.
Today we where not served desert or asked if we wanted any, I had to walk to the reception to pay our bill as waiters where around but will avoid eye contact, leaving us feeling like they didn't want to serve our table.
I had to express my dissatisfaction with the service today, and well the receptionist wasn't the slightest interested in what I had to say, more interested in me paying for our meal.

Unfortunately I am extremely disappointed as the sister restaurant next door has been marvellous.

Nous avons été accueillis pour notre fête de fin d’année avec 115 participants ! L’organisation de notre diner a été très professionnelle avec 2 buffets d’entrées ce qui a permis a tout le monde de progresser rapidement), ensuite le menu principal que nous avions choisi au préalable (4 choix), a été servi a table. Les portions étaient énormes ! Ensuite très beau plateau de fromage et buffet de desserts. Nous avons été ravis et recommandons l’établissement.
