Sitting high up on the hill, this beautiful church has some exceptional paintings.
It was amazing to see the grave site for Princess Grace and and her husband.
The view is exceptional from here and do yourself a favour and walk up through the Princess Grace Gardens.
After your visit here, you should head over to the Palace which is just next door.
The whole area is well worth a visit.
Je recommande d’aller visiter ce site hors saison touristique…

La cathédrale est construite sur le site de l’église Saint-Nicolas datant de 1252 et détruite en 1874. Sa construction commence en 1874, se poursuit jusqu’en 1903 et est consacrée en 1911.
C’est un étrange édifice: est-il de style roman? byzantin? Plutôt un mélange des deux me semble-t-il …
Nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu visiter l'intérieur, une messe y était célébrée.
