DARTMOUTH HOUSE

We really enjoyed our stay at Dartmouth House. The inn is so clean and beautifully restored. Breakfasts were delicious and Gary and Melina go out of their way to make you comfortable. We love the neighborhood and walking to all the restaurants on Park. It felt very safe being out for long walks.

My stay at Dartmouth House was nothing short of exceptional. Gary and Milena are wonderful hosts who genuinely care about their guests' well-being. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle. Their empathy and kindness, especially when some of us weren't feeling well, was greatly appreciated. The house's location in Rochester is ideal for exploring the city. Definitely the place to stay for a personalized experience with a touch of luxury. Looking forward to my next visit!

What a lovely gem of a b&b in our hometown of Rochester. My husband and I decided to do a staycation for our anniversary and, after reviewing our options and reading the reviews here, we chose Dartmouth and the Hemlock Room. The house is a beautiful old home. Our bed was very soft and comfortable and we soaked in the deep claw-foot tub both the evening we arrived and the morning after. Everything was immaculately clean. We also loved the gorgeous dining area; we had delicious crepes (thank you for the vegetarian options!) and homemade muffins for breakfast. The innkeepers were great and came out to talk with us while we had breakfast. Milena was especially responsive and even made it possible for us to check in early if we needed. It's within walking distance to Park Ave and lots of adorable restaurants (we recommend Roux and Verns!). I will be recommending this place to everyone.

Gary and Melina(?) were both very friendly, courteous and personable. To start with: the room was very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large and well appointed. Breakfast was freshly prepared, homemade and delicious. All together it was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely be back soon!!
