Excellent experience in the countryside of firenze

We had the best time here. Rooms were amazing, the view is incredible and here you really feel like you’re in the middle of Tuscany. Also it’s super close to Firenze and we had several activity options nearby.

We had a wonderful stay at Borgo Bottaia. Beautiful location, close to Florence, great rooms and excellent service. We look forward to returning next time we're in Tuscany!

Posto ideale per rilassarsi dopo una giornata di visita alla vicina Firenze.

Stayed there with a school party from NZ a few years back. Superb location. The rooms were confortable and clean. The views over the surrounding countryside are memorable, especially at dawn and dusk. No on site catering, although Luigi was happy to send someone to the village to bring in food on occasion. A car might be useful from here, I guess, although we never used one. The local bus service delivers you into Florence, for us Piazza San Marco, within half an hour. There is a biglietteria in the Tabacchi next to the central bus stop in Grassina. To get there from Borgo Battaia is about a refreshing k's walk. The pool is excellent and a welcome relief after trotting around Florence and elsewhere during the day. I was sitting on a stone fence with Luigi in the morning. All the children had gone. We were about to depart for our flight to the UK. I remarked at how peaceful it was, and he smiled and said 'tranqilita'. Indeed. There is something truly special about this place, and Tuscany in general, truth be told. Tranquilita. The local wine is pretty good too.

Adresse extraordinaire. On est à la campagne, au milieu d’une campagne très calme avec biches et lapins, et à 5mn du centre ville de Grassina, où l’on peut gratuitement laisser sa voiture et prendre un bus qui mène au centre ville de Florence. Les grands appartements sont situés dans un ancien hameau entièrement rénové. Ok ce n’est pas donné mais le rapport qualité/prix est excellent!

El lugar está rodeado de hermosos paisajes. Son pequeños departamentos con todo lo que se necesita, la señora de la limpieza es muy amable y servicial. Lo único que yo les sugiero es que vendan algo para comer pues está retirado el poblado siguiente y si no es en coche hay que caminar entre 20 y 30 minutos que aunque el paisaje es hermoso sería ideal tener algo más cercano.

Excellent Swimming Pool Host very Helpful

Wir waren zu zweit im Appartement 8 "Arco", daher beruht die Bewertung des Hauses nur auf diesem:
Das kleine, aber feine Ferienhaus verfügt über ein Wohnzimmer mit einer Küche und einem Esstisch. Sowie einem Schlafzimmer mit einem Badezimmer en Suite.
Vor dem Appartement stand außerdem ein Tisch mit 2 Stühle, dass wir draußen frühstücken konnten.
Alles in allem waren wir rundum zufrieden, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, der Gasherd funktioniert auch gut. Der Kühlschrank war ausreichend groß
Wir haben uns außerdem sehr über die Fliegengitter im Bade- & Schlafzimmer gefreut, da wir so mit offenem Fenster schlafen konnten.

Die Anlage an sich war ein Traum! Die Aussicht, der Pool und die restlichen Häuser haben ein Gesamtbild erheben, das zu 100% die Toskana widerspiegelt.
Um zu den nächsten Supermärkten, Apotheken usw. zu gelangen, benötigt man definitiv ein Auto, die Fahrt dauert ca. 10 Min.
Bis Florenz sind es ca. 15-20 Min, je nach Verkehrslage.

Leider hat uns das Badezimmer nicht so gut gefallen, die Armaturen sind teilweise stark verkalkt. Außerdem ist die Dusche sehr klein, ich bin eine schmale Person und habe mich eingeengt gefühlt, sodass ich immer froh war, wenn ich schnellstmöglich aus der Dusche raus war.

Es fehlen außerdem viele, viele Ablagemöglichkeiten. Der Schrank im Schlafzimmer hat nur eine Stange mit Bügeln. Der Esszimmer- sowie der Wohnzimmertisch sind sehr klein und bieten kaum Platz. Eine Kommode im Schlafzimmer wäre meiner Meinung nach die richtige Lösung, denn so mussten wir eine Woche aus dem Koffer leben.
Im Badezimmer gibt es ein Regal, das auch sehr schmal und bereits vollgestellt war.
