Really lovely service from a great hotel in Monteverde. Reception were great, lilly on check in was lovely. Hotel is really nicely looked after, rooms are clean and the pool area is nice. Food in the restaurant is delicious. 5 minute walk to downtown.

Hotel bonito y agradable, muy buen servicio

The rooms were nice, we especially liked the shower, but the bed was terrible. My daughter's bed was hard, mine was lumpy and hard. The food was wonderful and the grounds were pretty.

Was visiting friends staying here, so did not use the hotel much but the grounds were fabulous. Well maintained. Pool area looked great.

I receptionen luktar det underbart gott. Vi fick en ingefäsdryck med is väldigt välkomnande. De uppgraderade rummet till ett större med fin utsikt. Man kan se solnedgången från terrassen i trädgården. Frukosten var varierande och serverad vid bordet vilket man slipper springa runt själv. Poolen är vacker med orkideer som hänger från taket. Det finns över en jacuzzi som är varm. En eldstad i trädgården kan man värma sig vid på kvällen. Kan varmt rekommendera detta hotell.

Um dos melhores hotéis em que ficamos na Costa Rica, tem um shopping em frente com supermercado e bons restaurantes. Não tem ar condicionado nem frigorífico. O espaço exterior é bonito. Pequeno-almoço excelente

Mal atención al cliente

Although this hotel is ideally situated & has lush gardens, I would not recommend it. No closet. Small, cramped rooms. Nowhere to put toiletries in bathroom. Worst though was toilet waste was not emptied during our 2-day stay. Our family of 9 was happy to leave.

Pros- Close to the Monteverde triangle and town center. The restaurant, Otocuma has amazing food, and most of the waiters and waitresses were polite and sincere, specifically Kiara. At the reception, Benjamin was helpful. The view is good and they have a small 10 minute trail through a garden which is a nice addition. The location, food at Otocuma and few staff members helpful nature are the only reasons I will rate this place any stars at all.

Cons-Very spotty Wi-Fi and this delayed the check-in process. Large group which came before and after us were given a room immediately but we waited for nearly 1.5 hours. When questioned, we were “upgraded” to an isolated dingy room which is behind the hotel and also was dark at night. There were dogs in the entrance and it made it difficult to get out of the room. They would not change the room even if you request for it.

Overall, this is an example of a hotel I will not consider in Monteverde if I want a relaxing experience.
