Dieses architektonische Juwel inmitten des Grote Markts besticht durch seine aufwendige gotische Fassade, die mit Hunderten detaillierten Statuen verziert ist, die bedeutende historische Figuren und lokale Legenden darstellen. Eine Führung durch das Innere des Rathauses ist sehr beeindruckend. Das Rathaus von Leuven ist nicht nur ein Symbol der Stadt, sondern auch ein lebendiges Kunstwerk, das Besucher aus aller Welt anzieht. Definitiv einen Besuch wert!

Mooi en indrukwekkend bouwwerk! Jammer dat het zo beperkt 'open' is. Zou het wel eens van binnen willen zien. Eventueel meer uitleg buiten het gebouw zou ook mooi zijn geweest.

Sublime piece of architecture I've had the pleasure of seeing several times, including with Christmas lights.

Leuven's Grote Markt and city center is truly wonderful, with many amazing sights and restaurants. Some sights are almost out of a fairy-tale, and I dare say the Stadhuis is the crowning jewel of it.

Prachtig architectonisch gebouw, vakwerk ten top met zoveel detail aan de gevels !
De rondleiding binnen met de gids is zeker aan te bevelen. Te combineren met bezoek aan Oude Markt, St. Pieterskerk en de universiteitsbibliotheek

The stadthuis or old town hall was built in a late-Gothic style between 1439 and 1469, it is absolutely ornate and the detail is so amazing to see. It is so complete and in such good condition. Definitely a building to visit.

Lovaina no tiene mucho que ver porque es pequeña pero sin duda esté edificio es su estandarte. Gótico al mas puro estilo nórdico. Bonito de día e impresionante de noche con sus luces.

Admirable
L'hôtel de ville est somptueux. Cela restera un des plus beau souvenir de mon voyage en Belgique. La façade est ciselée, avec de nombreuses sculpture. Ce monument seul justifie une visite de Louvain.

Superbe édifice. Probablement l'un des plus bel hôtel de ville de Belgique, aussi bien à l'extérieur qu'à l'intérieur, surtout si vous avez la chance de pénétrer à l'intérieur des parties interdites au public pour un évènement officiel !
