Bijzonder mooi gebouw dat als monument genoteerd staat.

Hebben hier enkel een brunch met Bongo-bon gedaan, maar hotel zag er indrukwekkend uit en zeer charmant.
Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en lekker maar kon wel wat vaker en sneller bijgevuld waren; toen we toe kwamen waren alle warme gerechten op en we hebben meer dan 1uur gewacht op een minimale hoeveelheid die werd aangevuld.

Such a beautiful and charming Hotel!
Our room with the Egyptian bath was absolutely fantastic, it was really clean, really old but well maintained. The staff was incredibly kind, the breakfast was excellent and the location was perfect.
We will come back for sure!

Heerlijk hotel in barrokstijl ingericht net buiten het centrum van Gent. Op 100 meter afstand een tramhalte maar lopend ben je binnen een kwartier in het centrum. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Kamers zijn prima en gezellig ingericht en ontbijt is erg goed. Aanrader als je voor een leuke stedentrip een overnachting zoekt.

Zoals intussen mijn gewoonte geworden is super plek om gezellig, uitgebreid te ontbijten in het prachtig 19e eeuwse groot salon van dit oud stadspaleis.
Het personeel is super vriendelijk. De sfeer familiaal. Je kan nooit iets misvragen.
Fijn dat ook niet residenten wanneer er plaats is hier aan tafel kunnen aanschuiven!

The outside of the hotel is rather non-descript but once you enter... Back in the 19th century. Beautiful furniture, accessories and fireplace. Please picture its beauty and not look at its age. You should not compare it with any other hotels.
The location is almost the best but certainly the best for its price. You can park at the hotel, walk 15 min and you're at the center of Ghent, such a great place.
Breakfast was of good and enjoyable quality with plenty of choice.

Buen trato y habitaciones con encanto, para descansar y desconectar, algo retirado del centro, pero agradable paseo si acompaña el tiempo, muy recomendable

Shabby chic, a bit like staying in a museum, large grand room on the first floor. Excellent buffet breakfast, very helpful reception staff. Yes, things are a best faded but adds to the charm.

Mooi hotel, met alles erop en eraan. Vriendelijke personeel, niks is teveel gevraagd. In tegendeel wat een service. Kamers waren netjes, het ontbijt was top. Dus zeker een aanrader.

Zimmer / Möbel sind leider sehr verschlissen. Renovierung und Aufarbeitung der Möbel ist dringend notwendig. Grundsätzlich ist da schon irgendwie ein Charme, aber es wäre Charmanter wenn der Zustand besser wäre. Frühstück o.k. Personal nett.

Wij hebben hier twee nachten overnacht, en hebben het erg naar ons zin gehad. We zaten in een superior room, met een luxe en comfortabel bed. De kamer had tevens veel karakter. Het grootste minpunt was dat de douche niet wegspoelde en wij dus tijdens het douchen zorgden voor een grote plas water in de hele badkamer. Gelukkig hadden we dan wel weer een heerlijk bubbelbad. De vloeren kraakten inderdaad, maar dit stoorde ons niet omdat dit volgens ons ook bij het karakter van het hotel past.
Het ontbijt was lekker, met veel keuze!
De locatie was verder prima, niet middenin het centrum maar daardoor wel rustig, en dat is precies wat we wilden. Groot pluspunt was dat er een halte vlak voor het hotel was.

Una struttura fantastica, purtroppo non dispone di ascensore, vista la struttura d'epoca. Lo staff, il personale è presente per aiutare il cliente con i bagagli. Ne vale la pena cogliere questa esperienza. Disponibile un garage a pagamento, se libero, per poche auto. Noi con le nostre biciclette pieghevoli abbiamo raggiunto il centro in pochissimi minuti, tramite pista ciclabile. Consigliamo sicuramente, sempre se non si hanno problemi per salire le scale.

Si vous cherchez une adresse qui vous propose des chambres un peu plus atypiques, vous êtes au bon endroit!
On a l'impression ici d'arriver dans un petit château quand on passe la porte.
Les chambres sont grandes et peu nombreuses ce qui permet de conserver une certaine intimité dans ce grand bâtiment.
Une adresse idéale pour un séjour romantique.

The room was not well maintained with trim looking like it would fall off, many lightbulbs not working or flickering and the shower drain was clocked.
Not much noise isolation between rooms and in the bed you could feel the springs.
