Estuvimos 3 noches en el B&B de Michaëla y su marido y fue una experiencia muy buena. Es una casona típica belga con grandes salones y una decoración sorprendente. Se nota que son unos grandes viajeros y también muy buenos anfitriones. La habitación era muy grande y cómoda. El desayuno casero muy completo y las recomendaciones y charlas que tuvimos fueron muy enriquecedoras. El barrio es muy tranquilo, el alojamiento está frente al río y a 10min a pie del centro de la ciudad. Lo recomendamos mucho y seguramente regresaremos.

Très chouette expérience a Big sleep ????
L'emplacement est idéal, situé proche d'excellentes restaurants et à quelques centaines de mètres du centre de Gand.
Les chambres sont confortables et le petit déjeuner excellent et extrêmement complet, il y en a pour tous les goûts.
Un tout grand merci à Mikaela pour son accueil, on a été vraiment charmés par ta gentillesse et ton accueil (merci pour la kombucha????)

We hebben ons erg welkom gevoeld bij Michael. Prachtig pand, met grote ramen in de kamers die uitkijken op het water. We hebben erg van het ontbijt genoten, met alle zelfgemaakte jammen(persoonlijk hoogtepunt de kerstomatenjam met dragon) maar ook alle verse biologische producten en uitgebreide thee selectie. Wat een leuke stad is Gent, met alles in het centrum op loopafstand van de B&B. Veel leuke restaurants (wel op tijd reserveren!), barretjes en winkels in de buurt.

Un autentico b&b perché la padrona di casa sa accogliere i suoi ospiti e farli sentire a casa. La casa è stupenda, molto particolare, piena di dettagli d' epoca e ricordi di famiglia provenienti da viaggi. È comodissima al centro, ed è vicina ad un grande parcheggio a pagamento comodo per scaricare i bagagli e sostare x breve tempo. Dopo ci si può spostare poco distanti, presso il sito di Decathlon ( gratuitamente) e rientrare con una navetta che transita in zona b&b.
La colazione inclusa nel prezzo è abbondante e curata.

Een pareltje in Gent! Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouwe en nette kamers maakten het verblijf zeer prettig. Het ontbijt is top en gasten kunnen vrij van het zwembad gebruik maken. Zeer goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding!

Of all the places I have stayed at during the Gentse Feesten, this is without a doubt the best. The owner is very friendly, the rooms are clean, and there is a pool. I can't think of a single reason not to give 5/5. Would strongly recommend.

Een fantastische B&B, strategisch gelegen vlakbij station Gent-Dampoort maar toch rustig. Michaëla verwent je met een zeer verzorgd en uitgebreid ontbijt en een gezellige babbel. Ideaal als uitvalsbasis als je Gent wil verkennen. Ook het nabijgelegen restaurant Amigo was een topper. Echt een aanrader!

Alles wat je kan wensen van een B&B. Perfecte locatie dichtbij station en centrum. Goed verzorgde kamer, comfortabel bedje en ontbijt door een gezellige/gastvrije host. Ook leuke tips gekregen voor eetgelegenheden en activiteiten in de buurt. Heerlijk weekend gehad. Aanrader!

The accommodation in Big sleep was a complete surprise for me, as the townhouse has been renovated with an artistic sense of preserving old pieces of furniture and modern elements. I sincerely recommend staying at Bigsleep, as the city center is within walking distance, the hosts are extremely hospitable with a rich breakfast full of imagination and homemade jams :), and you won't believe it, they have a Zen pool in their backyard. A morning swim was the perfect entry to a new day full of dancing and singing at the Out of the Toolbox festival in Ghent, such a beautiful place of culture and grace. Grateful,

Séjour décembre 2022 : Excellent Acceuil, B&B bien situé, parking à 100m, centre ville à pied. Chambres spacieuses et proposes. Petit déjeuner parfait avec beaucoup de choix.

We spent a wonderful weekend at Michaëla‘s place and enjoyed our few days in Ghent very much.
From the lavish homemade breakfast buffet with freshly baked goods, the quiet backyard with an a pool to the interior design of the house, our expectations were completely exceeted!
Michaëla and her family kindly showed us around, recommended us restaurants and places to go in the city and were happy to chat about anything and everything.
There is nothing left to wish for, it was top notch.
We felt welcomed all the time and would be more than happy to come back.

Bel b&b a pochi minuti dal centro storico situato in una casa dell'800 luminosa e piena di atmosfera. La colazione, preparata da Michaela, è superlativa.

Dans un quartier au calme du canal, très central, l’accueil et le jardin rappellent le Sud! Décoré avec goût et originalité, c’est un plaisir de découvrir les œuvres et pièces de la maison! Super petit déjeuner et lits confortables! C’est un luxe que de s’arrêter pour la nuit!

The best B&B we have ever been! Michaela and her family are super attentive and sweet. A beautiful house, decorated in worldly style.The rooms are large and clean. We slept perfect, dark in the morning, not too hot. Soft beds, a place to sit, and attached shower. We loved the pool, we were lucky to have nice weather. Breakfast was abundant, good coffee! The city center is a 5 min walk, but quiet in the night. We even parked for free closed by. This is a top 10 location for the city of Gent for anybody visiting. We had a great time and are definitely coming back!

Their house is fantastic and the room with Vietnamese decoration very comfortable.
The homemade breakfast with different kind of Belgian cheeses, daily breads, fruit jams, fruits, cereals, thees was superb.
We realy enjoyed our stay in Michaëla and Erik house.
Definately we recommend their bed and breakfast.
