El servicio fue muy bueno. Las habitaciones estaban bien. Sin embargo nos pareció muy caro. Está al lado de la estación de tren.

I went to the Nepalese restaurant next to the hotel. The service was a little slow, but the food was delicious. I had a thali with the masala tea. I recommend if you are visiting Gent as it's very close to the train station.

The hotel strongly benefits from its location across from Gent central station and its interior design. Every bit of furnishing within the room was comfortable, and we stayed warm despite single digit outside temperatures. However, we stayed in an adjacent building and, for whatever reason, the water was continuously low pressure and frigid, making showers extremely uncomfortable and nigh on impossible.

場所、サービス、室内アメニティ等々、どこのホテルよりも充実してました。最後のトラブルには、頭が下がるほどに、助けてもらいました。今までの旅でとても良い思い出ができました。併設のレストランでカレーがおすすめしておきます。

La verdad que la apariencia de fuera (fachada) hace pensar que es un hotel del terror pero no es así. Lo primero, la ubicación es perfecta puesto que está enfrente de la estación de Gante y al centro de la ciudad se tarda andando como 20 minutos, en tranvía 10 minutos aproximadamente. Las habitaciones estaban limpias y disponía de todo tipo de facilidades.

Lo único positivamente destacable es la proximidad a la estación y las vistas a ésta misma. El resto es para echarse a llorar.
Nada más entrar nos invade un agresivo olor a curry, el recepcionista nos guía hacia las habitaciones, pasando por un pasillo estrecho y lúgubre. Esperando el ascensor, vemos un par de arañas grandes (Igual eran del staff de seguridad resguardando la entrada), el ascensor podría necesitar una revisión, la habitación es fea y limpiada con pocas ganas.
Debajo de la cama hay polvo de muchísimos días, así como en algunos armarios, los colchones manchados y la sonoridad de las habitaciones hace que si tienes gente arriba o en habitaciones adyacentes se escuche absolutamente todo lo que hacen.

En definitiva, no vale lo que cuesta. Huid.

I stayed at the Hotel Castel back on 18 Mar 2017 and found its location to be its biggest asset, being conveniently situated right across from the Gent-Sint-Pieters railway station. The modern rooms were comfortable with the added convenience of a desk and coffee/tea facilities. A highlight of my stay was the restaurant upstairs, serving exquisite Nepalese cuisine, which I found to be delectably unique. However, the lack of air conditioning during the summer months was a notable downside, making the rooms less comfortable than they could have been. All in all, while there are areas of improvement, the strategic location and the unique dining experience made it a worthwhile stay.

Nos alojamos en una habitación cuádruple. El hotel está correcto y limpio. El personal que nos atendió muy amable. Justo en frente de la estación y a media hora del centro.

Super umístění, pokud stejně jako my přijedete vlakem ráno, odložíte zavazadla, jdete obhlédnout památky a ráno pokračujete dál. Velmi milý pan recepční, poradil nám, jak se dostat do centra, děkujeme a doporučujeme.

Al lado de la estación de tren y del tranvía que te lleva al centro. Cuenta con bares cerca, un carrefour express.
El personal del hotel, de maravilla.

Ben snel langs het restaurant gegaan om even naar het toilet te kunnen. Ik moest betalen, wat begrijpelijk is, maar de vrouw die me te woord stond was zeer onvriendelijk. Jammer dus van het onattente personeel

En primer lugar, la ubicación del hotel es excelente, justo delante de la estación central de Gante y el hotel permite dejar las maletas con anterioridad del checkin. Sin embargo, la experiencia con este hotel fue muy desagradable, ya que, la habitación en la que nos hospedamos contaba con dos camas individuales, y una de ellas había chinches, ya que nos levantábamos llenos de picaduras. Además, el baño tenía una luz deficiente porque solo contaba con la luz de la ducha y mal olor. No repetiríamos.

Fijn hotel, zeer schone kamer en badkamer. Super locatie tegenover station. Hele aardige receptie, ik mocht kiezen of ik een kamer aan de voor- of achterkant wilde.
Ook het bijbehorende terras en restaurant zijn prima. Verrassend goede Nepalese curry gegeten, hoewel het al vrij laat in de avond was.
Bele fijne ervaring en voor herhaling vatbaar!

De eerste keer, maar ook de laatste keer. Matrassen zijn veel te zacht. Hoofdkussens vallen heel goed mee. Grootte van de douchecabine is voor mijn 1m98 te krap, bij iedere beweging vliegt de douchedeur open. Aan de douchedeur zit een rubberdichting kapot en waarschijnlijk al een hele tijd. Ook sporen van schimmel op te merken. De douchekraan is thermostatisch, maar werkt niet correct. Voor een aangename temperatuur te krijgen diende ik die in te stellen op minder dan 20°. Plaatsing rek voor handdoeken is buiten bereik als je de douche verlaat. Als je de deur van de douchekamer opent bij het verlaten, dan krijg je gegarandeerd die deur terug tegen je gezicht want achter de deur staat een nachtkastje.

Om een algemene indruk te geven.
Het hotel is eerder geschikt als een noodoplossing wanneer je vast zit in Gent. Als je de laatste trein gemist hebt bijvoorbeeld. Als je reserveert op voorhand, dan zijn er sws veel betere alternatieven. Voor de prijs hier, €108, heb je bij Ibis Budget Hotel, voor amper €2 meer, 2x eat all you can ontbijt inbegrepen.

Een best leuk hotel om voor een paar nachten te verblijven. Het personeel is vrij aardig. Verder was het bed na mijn mening erg aan de harde kant en waren het wat grote en volle kussens. Het hotel had een lift wat ook erg fijn was.
De locatie van het hotel is voor het openbaar vervoer vrij toegankelijk, echt waren er in de buurt weinig tot geen uitgaansmogelijkheden.
Al bij al een leuke plek om voor een paar nachten te blijven.

Petit hôtel situé face à la gare de Gand, qui ne paie pas de mine.
Les chambres sont spacieuses, confortables. Literie est bonne et les sanitaires sont propres.
Plateau de courtoisie.
