My favorite winery we visited in Alsace, a spontaneous find while on our e-bike tour!

Great variety of wines - I took home the Muscat, cremant, 2 types of pinot noir. The Black Katz Pinot was my absolute fav.

Friendly woman host - although she did not speak English so look into calling or booking with an English speaker. I let the wine do the talking and they are top notch quality. Friendly pricing, and I love the cat labeling as a cat lover.

Visited last Saturday for the third time in 10 years and purchased our maximum allowance for transit back into Switzerland ie 12 bottles split twixt the Noir, Barrique & One Other. Very palatable red wine at a sensible price in a lovely location. The village was liberated by the US Army in 1945 and they still remember it with gratitude. Thanks to the lady (wife ??) who facilitated our purchase :-) Between her English and my French we got there. Despite my surname I am as English as they come so there is no bias here :-))

Schönes Weingut mit ansprechendem Degustationsraum. Leider waren bei unserem Besuch schon viele Weine ausverkauft aber diejenigen, die wir noch probieren konnten waren sehr lecker. Sehr zu empfehlen!

J'y suis allé pour acheter du noir de Katz, qui est à mon avis un des meilleur pinot noir d'Alsace !!
Très bon accueil, j'y reviendrais pour goûter le reste de la gamme !!

Great variety of high-quality wines at friendly prices from this small producer. Really enjoyed the Cremant, nice and crispy with very small bubbles. Definitely a winery I want to return to, and explore more.
