Nieuw museum, maar de rol van Antwerpen in de hedendaagse diamanthandel, de geschiedenis van de diamant in Antwerpen, een leuke film, ervaringsgericht ontdekken voor kinderen, ... ontbreekt. Hier hadden ze veel meer mee kunnen doen. Er zijn boeiendere museums om te doen.

Increíble colección que se muestra en esta preciosa excibicion en el museo DIVA. Hace un reviento de piedras preciosas Diamante a y metales como el Oro y la plata, desde 1300 al 2022. Peto también muestra preciosas piezas de Cerámica, vagillas de acuerdo con cada una de las épocas. Recomiendo el paseo. Excelente atención y exposición.

So, so. Walked through it in 20 minutes. I expected more and something else. The displays were not ideal, little drawers with different kinds of effect that hardly worked, didn't work, or worked but took over the actual information. I wanted to know more about how Antwerpen became a diamond city, about the workers, the different neighbourhoods in the city working with diamonds, how the diamonds come in to Antwerpen, more explained how they select the best ones, more about cutting, etc, etc. In depth! What was displayed here was just too shallow and uninteresting. Also big lumps of diamonds, are they real? Replicas? No info.

Antwerp is famous for its tight connection with diamond's trading and cutting over the centuries and the DIVA museum of diamonds has a lot to show you about that connection.
The museum's audio guide provides informative insights into each display. Thus both tourists and locals will have an opportunity to not only admire the shiny diamonds but also learn about their history and origin.
Museum's working hours are really comfortable. They work every day except Wednesday until 6PM, so it is very comfortable to schedule a visit beforehand.
Entrance fee is reasonable. If you have kids, their entrance will be for free. They have flexible pricing for group visits as well.
I definitely suggest anyone check this museum, it won't take much time but will be an interesting experience. Flexible working hours and reasonable prices make it available for everyone.
