Me and my friends did a tour with JP and had a really good time. He shared many interesting facts about the valley, and showcased some of the local business. Would completely recommend if you are in Tarrafal :)

very friendly, motivatedand, helpful guides, responding on all wishes of clients. Good background informations. Very nice tour to Gongon Valley for experienced hikers. We recommand them to everyone who goes for a hiking tour in Serra Malagueta. We enjoyed the day!

We spent a lovely day with JP and his Crew!
We went on a fishing trip just outside the bay of Tarrafal. His knowledge about the place is astonishing. He explained flora and fauna to us in a kind and funny way.
Together with the captain of the boat, he looked for a good place to catch our dinner. We then fished the traditional, Cabo Verdian way. Afterwards, he went into the water with us, to guide us while snorkeling. In the evening, he prepared side dishes for us and we grilled fish. He knows a lot about the people and also wants to know you and your culture.
His prices are fair. I bet we couldn't get a better tour.
If I had more time, I would've booked another tour because my family and I felt very safe and well cared for.

We had a really lovely walk in the Serra Malagueta mountain with Joao Paolo. He was delightful company and, although we were a group of 8 people with mixed degrees of fitness, he made sure that everyone was looked after. His prices are very fair. All in all a great experience. Gerry and Veronica.
