MIDHRAUN LAVA RESORT

地理位置環境都很好，位於前往斯奈山半島旅遊的必經之路上，適合前一天到訪住一晚隔天早上再開始行程，房間打掃得一塵不染，一切你需要的傢俱設備應有盡有，性價比非常高！唯一的小缺陷，房間內沒有提供吹風機，但是前台工作人員態度非常友好地借了一個給我們。

A modern family-run resort on a farm in Miðhraun, located amidst the stunning volcanic landscape and lava fields of Iceland's Snæfellsnes Peninsula. Apartments, cottages and small houses are offered as accommodation. We especially enjoyed the quiet and natural surroundings, the proximity to various sights in the area, but also the comfortable apartments. Our apartment was cozy, spotlessly clean, well-equipped and made us feel at home during our trip. The breakfast trumps any other breakfast we have had in Iceland with the wide selection and is really recommendable. The dinner was also good, but the selection wasn't as big as in other guesthouses and the portions were smaller overall. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The Lava Resort also has a nicely designed geothermal bath (additional fee of 1500 ISK per person and use). A playground for children is also provided. A special highlight are the sheep which you can pet and who were very happy about our visit. Thank you for having us! Hopefully we will be able to visit the Lava Resort again in the future!

Wat een geweldige plek! Een aanrader!
Wij hadden een huisje met twee slaapkamers. Super schoon, voelde alsof we de eerste gasten waren. Modern en prima ingericht. Mooi uitzicht.
Het ontbijt was super lekker.
We zijn in de hottub geweest, wel wat warm maar je kunt een mooi rondje in de natuur lopen om even af te koelen. Nette omkleed faciliteiten én er werden drankjes bezorgd in de hottub.
In oktober is het restaurant niet alle dagen open. Boodschappen meenemen (in huisje kan je prima koken) of even van tevoren informeren.
De dames verzorgen een goede en persoonlijke service.
Het gebied is prachtig als start van je verblijf in IJsland. Voor ons een absoluut hoogtepunt. We hebben een rondje gereden over het schiereiland en dan kom je van alles tegen. Minder geschikt als afsluiter. Ze noemen het IJsland in het klein, je kan beter klein beginnen en groot eindigen.

Las casas son extraordinarias! El interior es muy hogareño y la poca contaminación lumínica te permite ver una cantidad de estrellas inimaginables. Vía láctea, satélites en movimiento, estrellas fugaces, … y lo mejor de todo desde un baño termal espectacular!!!
El trato del personal ha sido brillante! Nos han explicado varios detalles de la laguna, de los hábitos y de los retos que tienen los isleños con las aguas termales y las aguas frías.

My now wife and I had our wedding reception here. We all had the dinner buffet and it was excellent! The soups and entrees were amazing and it sounds basic, but the whipped butter they have with the bread is crazy good! The owners were very kind and friendly and made excellent accommodations! Additionally the cottages are very nice and cozy. 10/10 would recommend to anyone that finds themselves in on Snæfellsness!
