I did not like the historical pieces they have, they are not valuable nor sentimental. Good for education though. What I really liked ironically is the museum building!! So beautiful!! An art by its self

Magnifique. Une expérience incroyable à faire 20 euros pour l’adulte. Le monde islamique sur plusieurs étage et une vue incroyable. Trop de choses à voir. À faire sans hésitation. Parking facile d accès. Tout est fait à Doha pour la facilité.

This museum is gorgeous. As soon as you enter, you're in a large, expansive space that is bright and inviting. The galleries are full of beautiful pieces. Information is provided in Arabic and English. The price for foreigners is 50 QAR. Definitely worth visiting.

Musée qui a l’air très sympa mais nous n’en saurons pas plus car il est fermé pour « pluie » alors qu’il y a trois flaques par terre. On marche sur la tête ! Pas du tout digne d’un pays de qui on devrait au moins pouvoir attendre l’efficacité dans les services proposés au vu de la culture autoritaire qui y règne.

Beautiful building and architecture, it has four floors. You need to have 4 hours to complete the whole building. The park and view is incredible.

Riche collection
Plusieurs raisons d'y aller, à commencer par le bâtiment. Arrivée sur une allée bordée de palmiers et vue sur la nouvelle ville depuis la terasse du musée. La collection d'art islamique est très bien fournie, incluant des pièces rares d'Afghanistan et Syrie.

Musée très riche, collection exceptionnelle : enluminures, tapis, poteries, poignards aux manches et étuis très finement ciselés, corans miniatures, aiguières, lampes à huile, astrolabes... objets perses, égyptiens, chinois...
Et de plus c'est gratuit !

Même si vous n'êtes pas particulièrement attiré par les arts islamic, venez découvrir ce musé de toute beauté. La construction par elle même mérite déjà le detour ce bâtiment construit sur une langue de terre donnant directement sur la mer, a la tombée du jour le coucher du soleil a travers les arches du musé donnant sur l'eau est a surtout ne pas manqué, le parc autour du musé est verdoyant et d'un calme très reposant , n'hésitez absolument pas a venir y passer quelques heures.
