Nothing more than a scam. We were here for iftar, and all the joy vanished due to the unprofessional staff. It’s a set menu(low quality) and I’d like to have the alternative main course and they’ve agreed to get. I’ve waited half an hour but they didn’t get what they had agreed to, and when I asked again, they told me that there is a ‘miscommunication’ which is basically a lie to cover misalignment between staff. Moreover, the staff was really aggressive and rude, and they carried to do with silly jokes. It is better to stay away until there is a major change in the staff. Ambience was nice and it’s suitable for winter.

After spending the day exploring the National Museum of Qatar, head up to their fine dining restaurant for lunch. Located on the fourth floor of the museum, Jiwan Restaurant offers up amazing views of Doha Bay and the West Bay skyline from the outdoor terrace.

Jiwan’s menu uses seasonal ingredients and you can expect contemporary Arabic dishes such as harees, madroba, balaleet, hummus and sambousek, as well as desserts like luqimat and muhalabiya.

Everyone recommends trying the harees, a porridge-like dish made of whole wheat. Jiwan adds barracuda to it along with ghee on top. It’s the perfect savory comfort food.

My recent visit to Jiwan Restaurant was an absolute delight, and I feel compelled to share my experience through this review. From the moment we stepped in, we were warmly welcomed by Sammie, whose hospitality and knowledge set the tone for a fantastic evening.

We were fortunate to have Karim as our server, who not only brought our food with precision and timing but also enriched our dining experience with his extensive knowledge of the menu and impeccable service. His attention to detail truly elevated our time at Jiwan to a top-tier experience.

The ambience of the restaurant was enchanting, and we were thrilled that our request for outdoor seating next to a heater was accommodated. It allowed us to bask in the beautiful surroundings while staying comfortably warm. Additionally, the table provided us with a breathtaking view, making Mia’s 25th birthday celebration truly unforgettable.

Overall, the combination of excellent service, delectable cuisine, and a charming atmosphere made our visit to Jiwan Restaurant a memorable one. We left feeling thoroughly satisfied and eager to return for another delightful dining experience.
