The deck looking out over the Okovangu river is one of the best places I have seen in Namibia. The owner was very helpful. Unfortunately I booked late and the campsite that was left was not great. Campsite 1 is magnificent though. The real highlight is the game drive. Doesn’t matter where you stay in the Zambezi (Caprivi) region, if you can organise the Ndhovu game drive in the Buffalo park, you won’t regret it. Its difficult to imagine a more wild, untamed place. Hope I get to do it again.

Die Zimmer waren äußerst gepflegt, das Essen war hervorragend, und die Umgebung war schlichtweg phänomenal. In der Nacht konnten wir das Brüllen der Löwen auf der gegenüberliegenden Flussseite hören, und am Morgen hatten wir sogar das Glück, ein Löwenpaar zu erspähen. Der Besitzer, Ralf, ist eine äußerst interessante Persönlichkeit und hat alles im Griff. Als wir mit einem platten Reifen ankamen, organisierte er in fünf Minuten den Reifenwechsel für uns. Einziges Manko unserer Erfahrung war, dass wir nur eine Nacht dort verweilen konnten. Liebe Grüsse aus der CH

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte durante il viaggio in Namibia ad agosto 2023.
La struttura si trova proprio sul fiume Okawango, in posizione isolata e tranquilla, raggiungibile in auto su strada sterrata. Esternamente appare molto curata, con un bel giardino molto grande, una grande hall con affaccio sul fiume e varie casette in legno. Le stanze si trovano sparse in varie posizioni, ma sono tutte con ingresso indipendente e la nostra era molto ampia e si affacciava in prima linea sul fiume. Molto bello il patio esterno privato con amaca e sdraio. Colazione e cena disponibili nel ristorante interno. Qualità buona del cibo con presentazione dello staff e dei piatti. Da non perdere la crociera con safari al parco Bwabwata.
