LRB was above and beyond our expectations! The location is remote and idyllic, the facilities well-kept and very comfortable, and Blaine and Loretta were both so friendly and hospitable. This place is truly a little slice of paradise; we enjoyed kayaking on the river, swimming in the pond and pool, relaxing in the hot tub, stargazing, and exploring the trails and spotting all sorts of birds and amphibians. I hope to be back soon with more friends and family!

This was the best experience I have had in a long time. My girlfriend surprised me this past weekend with a stay. We stayed in the guest house it was a breath of fresh air. And I was reminded of summer time at my great grandmother home. Looking forward to returning and Mr.Blaine and his wife was like family very welcoming. A true ???? ???? ???? ???? gem.

Nice property, well maintained. Quiet. The Guest House cabin was cute and comfortable. Our older son had a blast! Owners promptly changed our reservation dates (during a cold wave) on short notice without any additional fees. Would recommend a visit.

Second trip in 3 months and it did not disappoint. The hot tub was amazing. Lazy mornings on the swing in the screened in porch with coffee. Hiking all the trails enjoying the flora and fauna. Family fun with nightly games in the cabin. Boating around the pond fishing. Saw a deer on the north trail. Perfect get away to unplug from the daily hustle and bustle of the city. Meadow cabin is nicely tucked away, and you feel like there is no one else around. We will definitely be heading back as soon as possible.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at little river bluffs. The property was beautiful and very well maintained. Blaine went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed every moment. The little details make LRB unique; from the diffused essential oils to the thoughtfully planned scenic views.

Would highly recommend! A lovely get away an hour from New Orleans that feels far removed from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Two cons to note:
The king sized bed in the Meadow Cabin is actually two twin beds pushed together. We chose to sleep on the futon our second night and were much more comfortable.

I think that the rates were representative of the property but the $100 add on cleaning fee felt steep.
