If you are a novice like me, I strongly recommend to take a guide. I really enjoyed the visit fully of anecdotes and learned a lot on Rodin but not only.

Rodin manquant de place dans son atelier parisien a décidé de quitter Paris et d'acheter, en 1895, la villa des brillants à Meudon. Il ne s agit donc pas de visiter un véritable musée mais plutôt la dernière demeure où vécu et travailla l artiste avec ses assistants.
Plusieurs œuvres et collections sont exposées dans la galerie des plâtres, l'atelier des antiques et le parc.
Rodin et son épouse reposent dans le parc de la propriété, veillés par l’un des Penseurs.
Je recommande la visite de ce site ouvert que le week-end et fermé d octobre à mars. L'accès est gratuit. Pas de parking.

The Thinker (or the Poet aka Danté), The Gates of Hell, The Burghers of Calais, and all associated historical significance in one amazing museum. You also feel the energy of his homestead when you look out onto Paris in his sun room study and garden. A must-see if you are a fan of sculpture. The scale of his works are truly breath-taking. Free visit on Sunday!
