The Hotel is in a stunning and serene location. We had a good breakfast and delicious dinner (both were included).
Staff was friendly and helpful.

Special thanks to Cheif Mamdo for chicken biryanis ????

Rooms were clean. AC was available in each room.

First of all, the resort is located in the key spot of wakan village,

Beautiful view, the service from the staffs are excellent,

But some areas need to be improved,
There is some bad smell around the resort,
Inside the room, there is some insects in the wall which is too much across the room and washrooms.

They should have a open sheesha counter also, because the weather is so good for sheesha and coffee.

نزل قديم مرمم وجميل جدا جدا والمنظر من فوق رائع والأهالي طيبين ، الغرف جميله لكنها تحتاج للتنظيف من حشره اسمها الحبيبوه، هي غير مؤذيه ولكنها منتشره بسبب الرطوبه ، استمتعنا جدا بالقريه

Eine einzigartige Unterkunft bietet sich hier in luftigen Höhen.

Die Zimmer waren wunderbar - in so einem „Hotel“ waren wir noch nie und es hat uns gewundert, wie viel Moderne in diese alten Häuser gepackt wurde.

Das Abendessen war in Buffet Form und es war für jeden etwas dabei.
Das Frühstück war spitze, man hat einen großen Teller voll Pancakes, Omlett, Würstchen, Bohnen, Toast und und und bekommen.
Der Essensbereich ist wirklich wunderschön & sehr romantisch.

Der Service war sehr herzig und top.
Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und sind traurig, dass wir nicht länger bleiben konnten.

Übrigens: Die kurze Wanderung zum Aussichtsturm ist ein Must-Do.

Favorite place I stayed in during the 9 days I was in Oman. The view is unbeatable. It's at the doorstep to incredible hikes in the area (w24/24a and 24b make a very challenging but stunning loop hike from Wakan, took us 6-7 hours and we're experienced hikers). The lodging itself, very beautiful, comfortable. Food very nice, especially compared to the other Sama resort I'd stayed at. Staff also lovely.

+1 star for the views, and +1 for the outstanding staff and service - very friendly and did a nice celebration for Oman National Day, and also prepared an early breakfast for me as I had to leave earlier.

However, I was very disappointed by the room. It looked and felt like a dungeon. I've stayed in cave hotels before and there are ways to make it cozy, but there was no effort at all. It was not nice at all. Also, be aware there's no wifi at the hotel either.

The area was nice but in retrospect I wish I visited and stayed somewhere else.

Très belle vue sur la vallée, hôtel qui pourrait être parfait pour ce prix si : l'accueil était plus professionnel, les sanitaires de piètre qualité, aucune insonorisation entre les chambres !il suffirait de mettre un épai rideau derrière la porte.
La nourriture est simple mais trop épicé pour des papilles peu habitué, donc je n'ai pas pu toucher au plat principal. Dommage.

Wonderful stay for one night in the beautiful Wakan village. After the journey up it was fantastic to arrive in such a place and explore the village and surroundings. Sama was amazing for our family and their service was very good throughout. Topped off with the most amazing thunder storm! Would highly recommend!
