Fyrogennis Palace in Ambelas is in a nice location. Nearby beach and restaurants but no shops; you will need a car. The swimming pool is very nice but the outdoor chairs bed and bar area need an update these are old and dirty.
The breakfast is not special and it needs more variety and fresh fruit.
The rooms are old with old designs and bathrooms that smells and are small with no hook for the shower. The lightsbulbs are all different and electric for your mobile or hair are not at logical places.
The balconies are looking to the sea and Naxos super view! The host is a friendly man.
Overall the hotel needs an update like the hotel next to them which is super looking atmosphere.
Fyrogennis doesn't have that same vibe which is a pity. The price for this low budget hotel is high for what you get. Don't expect much.

Petit hôtel au calme. D’une manière générale il manque peut-être d’un rafraîchissement global mais il est propre et la propriétaire est sympathique. Nous aurions aimé une bouteille d’eau au frais dans le réfrigérateur mais bon…

We visited Fyrogenis Palace two times. We came back the second time in 2023 because we enjoyed the first time very much. The complex is situated near Naousa (3 km) which is the chic (and expensive) place in Paros. Naousa is the closest place to Mykonos at Paros (both geographically and society wise). The Ampelas area itself has developed the recent years and has become more upscale. There are several nice restaurants within walking distance and several of them at the seashore/beach. Super cool! And full of people every day. Several small beaches in walking distance. Fyrogenis Place itself is very well managed. The owners, Christin, Kosta and Dimitri are always around and ready to assist. The complex is well maintained and clean. The pool is very nice and recently renovated. Within 5-10 kms you’ll find very nice beaches (Santa Maria, Lageri, Monasteri and many more) and Lefkes which is a beautiful mountain village. Also worth mentioning is the Gyros Kebab place “Street Griller” in Naousa. The best Pita Gyros on Paros! Overall Fyrogenis Palace is very good value for money. Large and clean apartments. Simple and “spartanic” interior decoration and layout. Very nice private terraces on the lower level. And air conditioning in the rooms. So, if your preferences are a good location, well maintained complex, clean rooms with a decent bed and hot shower and a nice swimming pool this place is perfect. We stayed there for 10 days with teenagers. I recommend renting a car/motorbike in order to get around. It’ll just improve the experience in general.

Ένα υπέροχο ξενοδοχείο με δική του πισίνα, θέα στη θάλασσα από κάθε δωμάτιο, σε μία όμορφη και ήσυχη περιοχή, στον Αμπελά. Κοντινή πόλη είναι η Νάουσα, μικρή απόσταση με οποιοδήποτε μέσο (μηχανάκι, αυτοκίνητο κλπ.) Οι άνθρωποι που έχουν το ξενοδοχείο είναι ευγενικοί, δίνοντας πολλές πληροφορίες για το νησί. Το δωμάτιο καθαρό και όμορφο, συμπληρώνοντας την εικόνα της ιδανικής διαμονής για καλοκαιρινές διακοπές!

Πολύ ωραίο ξενοδοχείο..το κλείσαμε κοντά στα 60€ τη μέρα και ήταν καλύτερο και των προσδοκιών..η πισίνα,το δωμάτιο καθαρό,πολύ άνετο, ωραία θέα,εχει 2 ηλεκτρικά ματια και τα απαραίτητα για μια μακαρονάδα ,αν και έχει οικονομικό μαγαζί ακριβώς ένα δρομο κατω και παραλια...5 λεπτά με μηχανάκι από Νάουσα, ήσυχο σημείο... σίγουρα θα ξαναπάω όταν κατέβω..

Jolie endroit calme et reposant, terrasse vue sur la mer et Naxos, bonne chambre avec kitchenette mais salle de bain à renover (d'ou 4 étoiles au lieu de 5)
Personnel charmant, très sympathique et de bons conseil.
Petit déjeuner simple mais très bien.
Plage à 250 m et 2 restos grecs en bord de plage a 300m, très bons et prix aisonnables : le Thalami et le Chritiana.
Grande piscine avec assez de sun-beds et transat.
Un endroit qui invite a la détente.

We hade a lovely stay at Fyrogenis Palace. The room was nice and clean but not lyxurius but that was on the other hand the view from the hotel. Nearby we also found a couple of really nice restaurants just above the shore, in particular Thalamis. The pool and the poolbar was really nice and Kostadinos was a lovely host. To make a great experince even better Kostadinos hade a couple of kittens who entertained our kids for hours. So if you looking for a nice and down to earth place to spend your vacation I strongly recommend Fyrogenis!

We enjoyed a wonderful two days at Kostas' beautiful and quiet place on Paros island. The studios are basic and have everything you need, yes there is even a possibility to do some basic cooking! Wow.

Very clean pool and they run a small poor bar with everything you need for a relaxed day in the sun.

Fyrogenis place is also a good spot for some bike and gravel biking tours as well as for walking tours to the city of Naoussa.
