À deux reprises nos pas nous ont conduit aux Relais: un spectacle nous attendait…la passe de Tiputa devant laquelle nous avons passé des heures dans de confortables fauteuils.|N’oublions pas le chaleureux accueil de nos hôtes Corinne et Jean Robert d’une présence discrète et efficace. |Notre Fare: une simplicité luxueuse et confortable…..|Le restaurant était parfait compte tenu des difficultés d’approvisionnement: nous avons été régalé.|Nous y retournerons sans délai et conseillons à nos proches de vivre cette expérience formidable.|Brigitte et Denis

My husband and I stayed in Les Relais de Josephine during our honeymoon. The hostess Emmanuelle is a superhuman superstar - from picking us up at the airport, helping the chefs serve the food, organising any expedition at any time of the day, to absolutely SAVING our honeymoon when the airport in our next destination shut because of strikes and she found us a boat that would take us there - we don’t know what we would have done without her! We were staying in bungalow number 1 which is literally on the shore of Tiputa Pass, and we would sleep hearing the sound of the waves and see black tipped reef sharks on our way to dinner. They have a lovely porch overlooking this amazing pass where you can supposedly see dolphins - sadly we could never spot any though! The food is AMAZING! I am vegan and they always served me a wonderful vegan breakfast and three course French vegan dinner which was outstanding. It is perfectly positioned with the Quay 5min away - meaning we could walk to all of our expedition meeting points instead of needing transport, and they also have bicycles that allowed us to be free to explore the whole Avatoru island. Emmanuelle also recommended we do the wine tasting of Vin de Tahiti which is grown in Rangiroa and it did not disappoint, it was a fascinating experience. The main thing to bear in mind while staying in the Relais is that it is very very windy, but after getting used to it we really began to appreciate how it would keep the mosquitoes away! Also - there is WiFi only in the dining area, but that can be a good thing! Overall, it’s a wonderful place to stay and we are SO grateful to Emmanuelle for taking care of us during our honeymoon.

Lieux magique. On a l’impression d’être au bout du monde.
Les bungalow sont grand et très propres. Chacun a sa propre terrasse.
Les repas du soir sont copieux et le personnel adorable.

Très bonne cuisine ( plat du jour et dessert excellent ) pour nous le meilleur resto de Rangi.

Nous recommandons Les Relais de Josephine à tout ceux qui souhaitent séjourner à Rangiroa. L'emplacement, le cadre, la tranquillité des lieux, l'esprit pension et l'accueil d'Emmanuelle toujours à l'écoute, les bungalows confortables et leur charme exotique.. Une vraie bonne adresse. Petit bémol concernant la restauration, nous rejoignons certains avis et aurions apprécié des repas un peu plus élaborés, des saveurs un peu plus locales également ainsi qu'un petit déjeuner plus varié type americain (comme on le trouve dans d'autre pensions). Cependant, Emmanuelle nous a expliqué que les ravitaillements tous les 15 jours rendaient cela difficile. C'est peut être sur ce point que le rapport qualité prix peut être discutable. Néanmoins, nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour et reviendrons avec plaisir si l'occasion devait se présenter! Mauruuru!!
