We stumbled across this restaurant today and were delighted with every aspect starting with the helpful carpark guard to the warm greeting inside the restaurant and the language assistance with us English speaking Kiwis . We had a wonderful Sunday feast. Maururu ruru

Has buffet attended mostly by locals, Pier with rickety railings with fish. Restaurant is over water.

Wir waren spontan hier um eine Kleinigkeit zu essen. Das Ambiente ist nett, ziemlich groß und die Live Musik war für unseren Geschmack zu laut, man konnte sich kaum unterhalten. Das Essen war aber sehr gut und frisch.

I really wanted to rate this higher because the staff is very friendly and a beautiful ambience. But first we were mislead on their hours. We showed up at 5:30 pm and was told we can order dinner. Nope, just drinks, kitchen opens at 6. At 5:45 they took our order. Maui Maui for her and parrot fish for me. At 6:15 I’m told they’re out of Parrot fish. Only two others in the establishment Ok, minced beef and fries. 6:45 our order comes out. A tiny charcoal burger paddy without flavor and some fried. My wife’s Maui was good except for the undercooked part which we believe made her sick the following day. Better food and way better prices from the food trucks down the street.
