This place will take your breathe away. It is the place to stay at if you’re on Salina. Very attentive staffs, great service, and the wines were great. I would go back just for their club sandwich.

Ottima cena e servizio

Siamo stati in 6 a cena, ottimo servizio e cena di alta qualità. Personale molto gentile e corretto. Abbiamo avuto un disguido sul prezzo concordato - per svista nostra - ed il personale ha ribattuto lo scontrino col prezzo più basso senza problemi. Abbiamo poi verificato noi, corretto e lasciato una cospicua mancia per il servizio e la correttezza.

Unica nota forse il prezzo del menu vegano, che potrebbe essere più basso rispetto al menu standard per via delle materie prime.

Cena con menù degustazione e abbinamento di vini ottima. Consiglio di arrivare poco prima che faccia buio per passeggiare attraverso i vigneti e godersi la vista della location. Servizio molto cordiale e impeccabile. Rapporto qualità prezzo perfetto.

Aperitivo assolutamente micragnoso (comuni salatini contati a malapena sufficienti per i commensali).... servizio lento.
A seguito del ritrovamento di corpo estraneo in un bicchiere, mi sarei aspettata almeno l offerta dello stesso....ma evidentemente era troppo esoso per la direzione.
Costosissimo.

Due stelle esclusivamente per il servizio molto lacunoso. Aperitivo con amici ma con capello incluso dentro uno dei cocktails. Stitici nel servire stuzzichini da accompagnare all Aperitivo sebbene il prezzo non economico. Nonostante l'incidente pilifero ci saremmo aspettati un cadeau (magari qualche stuzzichino in piu?) che non avrebbe sicuramente intaccato il bilancio aziendale.....

Seconde expérience dans ce lieu magique rattrapé par un marketing qui s’est débridé … imagineriez vous vous faire facturer 30 euros une table du seul fait qu’elle se situe côté mer ? Et alors même que par nuit noire, la vue est totalement ruinée… reste à l’imaginer (la vue évidemment, pas l’addition)
Ce n’est pas une blague.
Quel seraient les prochaines blagues? Une facturation d’un coussin pour chaise en bois ? Un couteau qui coupe ? Un verre qui ne fuit pas ? Le sel ?…
Ici l’excellence de la cuisine (5/5) côtoie l’inconcevable, dommage.

On July 17, we had a family dinner for 11 guests. My son has various food allergies, all of which were carefully—excruciatingly—shared with the restaurant well ahead of his order being placed. We repeated the allergies in both English and Italian. Unfortunately, my son had a serious food allergy reaction, and it’s unclear whether his dish actually included the allergen or whether this was cross-contamination. Whatever it was, it was clearly the restaurant at fault. We ended up in the emergency room, on a remote island, which was not fun. This lack of care by the restaurant and its staff was very disappointing. There was no follow up or help. My hunch is that there was a mix up between the serving staff and the kitchen. I love the restaurant, the setting, but I was let down. I don’t think I will be back. If you are concerned about food allergies, please be careful at Capofaro.

“In vigna sotto le stelle”, esperienza di degustazione di eccellente livello, accompagnata dalla bravissima Federica. Il tutto vista vigneto delle tenute Tasca d’Almerita che degrada dolcemente sul mare. Veramente consigliata!

Excellent place to stay in the Aeolian Islands, very beautiful, clean, and well managed. Located outside of the port town of Santa Marina but transportation is easily accessible. Restaurant is very good with a friendly staff. Wine tasting available.
