We booked the premium spa room with a garden view but didn’t realise that meant we wouldn’t have a shower ???? while there is a shower head and hose, there is no attachment on the wall, which means you have to hold the shower head to shower.
This is something that could be easily remedied and would have made our stay even more pleasant!
UPDATE (18/04/24): We mentioned the “missing” shower to the reception and they explained that not all premium double rooms with spa bath and garden view have a walk in shower. Which is totally fine, but it would be good to have it as an option when booking. The staff were extremely helpful and apologetic and offered to give us a room with a shower the next day. We ended up declining the offer, as we didn’t fancy repacking everything and were happy with everything else in the room - apart from the bed (a different story)????
In fact, if there was a bracket on the wall for the shower, we probably wouldn’t have said anything.
**about the bed**
We have been here for 3 nights and haven’t had a good night sleep yet. The bed feels like it’s slanted and we noticed it doesn’t have a proper mattress, but rather two foam toppers (see image) ! ????
It is a little disappointing considering the quality of the hotel. Hoping for a good night sleep tonight ????????
