surrounded by nature, it is still minutes from Chora and beautiful beaches.
The hosts are friendly and welcoming. after preparing you the best breakfast ever, and taking care of what you need, they will leave you to enjoy the quiet privacy of this heaven.
It was very hard to leave and we will come again. And again. And again!

This is a hard one because it's honestly half and half. Firstly I will say the place is amazing, an absolute little earthly heaven with a vineyard and beautiful fruit trees, however surrounded by all this beauty we missed a peace away from home, Nellie the owner had made a beautiful home and was great in many ways, i.e. recommendations of around Andros, and very helpful and considerate on numerous occasions, but in-house comfort sometimes came up short. It sometimes felt like a boarding school where you had to report in with the head mistress. We have two young children, and I know that can be a terror, but even I felt under the head teacher's eye. For example, I wanted to hang children's swim wear in a sunny area for a few hours so we could use them at the beach but she quickly dismissed me, and on another night we came home late, the wind blew the door slammed, and I was told off again. Honestly unless it's free accommodation there is a certain way to treat customers that was sometimes absent. A very positive experience overall, maybe just needing a less intrusive presence from the well meaning host.

The grounds are beautiful and the staff are lovely but I can’t recommend this place, unfortunately, because of the host. That’s because we felt more like we were staying for free with someone we knew vaguely (maybe parents of friends?) and needed to act a certain way, rather than paying for a nice experience. I felt a little like I was back studying abroad with a host family who would tsk tsk if I stayed in bed too late (for instance when we went back to the room after breakfast the housekeeper just hovered outside the glass-doored room until we left.). The room is simple and nice but also maybe not worth the summer price, considering what else you can get in Greece. That wasn’t the real issue for me though. When my boyfriend spiked a high fever the night before we were to check out and I came up in the morning to let her know, Nelly’s first response was that we needed to leave because someone was checking in. My family has a rental house and I totally understand the need to accommodate incoming guests but I told her he was really sick and that was her first response. Never asked about his health. Never volunteered to help us with calling another place to stay. It was really disappointing. I live in Greece and hospitality is my favorite thing about this country, but this wasn’t it. I would stay elsewhere in Andros.

Niché dans une vallée luxuriante et à quelques minutes des meilleures adresses de la Chora, un havre de paix qui fut notre camp de base pour découvrir cette ile si atypique des Cyclades, méconnue, préservée et incroyablement diverse qu’est Andros… un bonheur qui doit largement aussi à l’accueil de notre hôte, à sa gentillesse qui n’a d’égal que sa discrétion, et à une qualité de service de tous les instants comme peu d’hotels savent encore hélas offrir aujourd’hui. Merci et à très vite donc, car nous prévoyons de revenir à Andros aussi longtemps que KTIMA LEMONIES nous ouvrira ses portes :)
