ESENCIA HÔTEL & VILLAS

We are a couple and stayed here for 6 nights at the end of November beginning of December.

Positives first. Staff were friendly, pool is great, rooms are set away from the road and in the beautiful jungle. Nice and quiet at night. Cold air con, hot shower, great mini fridge, clean rooms. Close to the beach, stores and restaurants. The girl who did our check out was fantastic and let us hang out by the pool after checking out.

Cons: At check in, we were not given any info on anything. I guess there is breakfast available as we saw all other guests receiving it. Didn’t bother to ask as we did our own thing. We figured out the air con on our own and needed to ask how the safe worked. It’s locked via a key and not electronic as per instructions on the safe. I think the check in staff were new and working out the kinks. So really, not a big deal.

There are towels for rent to use at the beach or pool. I think pool towels should be included as most travellers don’t carry one. Seems like an unnecessary cash grab.

We stayed in room 24 where there is a staff area in the back. If you close the bathroom door, it’s not too bad for noise. But, I would recommend one particular staff member put their phone on silent mode. In our room, by the pool or relaxing in the hammock we heard the constant dinging of her phone during the day.

All in all though, great stay and I would recommend this spot. I would stay here again.

Decent hotel but the check in needs work. We were not told the wifi code or how the safe worked. There's a nice pool but you have to rent towels which feels like a cash grab. The biggest feedback I can give is to have the staff silence their phones! From morning until the afternoon the constant chirp of text messages is too much. Also if you are in room #24 the staff hang out is right at the bathroom so lots of extra talking noise and text noises. Close to T street for beach access but on the dirt road.

Zimmer war OK, allerdings wurde das Zimmer nicht täglich gemacht (vergessen?), das Frühstück war so extrem spärlich, dass man auswärts gehen musste um ein zweites einzunehmen. Es gibt weder kostenlos Wasser noch Kaffee/Tee im Hotel. Ich würde es nicht weiter empfehlen.

Schönes Ort mit viel Natur herum, riesige Schwimmbad Bereich , alles schön geputzt und mit freundlichen Personal.

La habitación es cómoda, no tiene muchos espacios donde poner la maleta y el baño no me gustó (la ducha era incómoda, tiene cortina, no puerta, nunca encontré dónde se ponía el agua caliente, quizás no tenga).

El jardín es hermoso, la piscina es grande y limpia, el balcón con hamaca con vista al jardín es espectacular, tiene buen internet y el parqueo es bastante seguro.

Está muy bien localizado en la calle principal cerca de la playa y restaurantes y tiendas.
