Santa Teresa was my favourite part of Costa Rica, and Hotel Casa Cecilia was a big part of why I enjoy this spot so much. Right on the beach, the accomodation is basic but done very well.

Perfect getaway.
Calm, about 3,5-4km north of the more hectic santa teresa. Very warm and welcoming staff. Very serviceminded, and it is true. IT IS ON THE BEACH. Breakfast is tasty and a la carte prepared. Not huge but truly OK.

I just enjoyed another great stay at Casa Cecilia! Highly recommended! Due to my travel logistics I arrived late, but to my surprise, the Security Guard was waiting for me in the parking area to ensure I would have no issues getting through the security gate (even though I had been provided all the entry information already) and entering the Hotel property. I stayed for 3 nights and it was a great joy! Nicest staff, premises felt very safe, great home cooked breakfast, CLEAN (and large!) well appointed room, hot water, great A/C. And right on a beautiful beach that some people surfed. Even my fellow hotel patrons were the nicest people. Aaron (Hotel Manager) checked on me several times during my stay to make sure everything was going well and to see if I needed anything. Love this place, this was the tropical vacation I envisioned! Five Stars!!!!
