Wonderful place to stay, the staff are super kind and helpful. The room was clean and beautifully decorated upon arrival, hot water for showers and the tap water is potable for foreigners! The staff were amazing and helped us with all our needs (local tips on where to explore, birding tips for exactly where to find tody motmot/golden-eared toucanet/etc, questions about town/travel and calling a taxi for us), even accommodating our particular needs to leave early in the morning. Nice kitchen with everything you need. We felt instantly at home! Easy to reach from Liberia by bus, we caught a bus to Upala from the Pulmitan station in Liberia and it let us off 50meters from the hostel! Hostel is walking distance to epic waterfalls, gorgeous swimming holes, canopy walkways, excellent birding/nature watching, restaurants, a brewery, a cajero/ATM, a panaderia and multiple supermarkets. I highly recommend it!

Look no further! I had the most incredible experience at this hostel run by the most welcoming and warm-hearted family. Before COVID, this place was always fully booked!
From the moment I arrived, I was treated like a member of their family, and it made my stay unforgettable. The hostel itself is cozy and charming, with clean and comfortable beds. But what truly sets this place apart is the genuine hospitality and kindness of the family who runs it. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, from local tips to delicious homemade breakfast. Staying here felt like a home away from home, and I can't recommend it enough.

A fantastic place to stay when visiting Bijagua! It's super close to all of the activities in the community and the family that runs the establishment is lovely and very friendly!

Nous avons passé un excellent moment ici, la chambre privative est d'un excellent rapport qualité prix, très propre, lit confortable, eau bien chaude. Joli jardin et terrasse où on peut profiter du super petit déjeuner inclus dans le prix. Et la propriétaire nous a permis de faire un tour exceptionnel pour voir des tapirs.

Wonderfull and super helpfull host family. Helped with must-sees in the area and figuring out transportation. I stayed in the shared room and it was nice and clean. Breakfast was great aswell. Would recommend for backpackers!

I stayed with two friends for two nights. We had an amazing experience. The family who own the place are amazing hosts. They immediately make you feel welcome. The room and the house were very clean, the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was included and it was very good. Dinnora pointed us to good places to eat nearby, and was very accommodating. Would definitely go back and recommend.

Außergewöhnlich herzliche Gastgeber. Unser Zimmer war groß, super ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur jedem wärmstens empfehlen!

Bien placé au début de la ville, très calme. Les chambres sont très bien. Le pti dej est incroyable et très copieux.
L’accueil est très agréable et de bons conseils.
