A tranquil and serene garden sympathetically modelled to frame a carefully restored manor ruin with its adjacent traditional bakehouse. The plantings are designed to be in keeping with the period setting, with elegant topiary formally defining geometric beds and granite terraces, a garden of medicinal herbs, and a rectangular horse pond planted with water-lilies. The owners, who have lavished care and effort on this lovely place for 40 years, are extremely kind and welcoming.
