Had lunch there during peak hour while waiting for the entrance timing into Neuschwanstein castle I must say getting attention for waiter in Germany is a sport. Food was average imh.

The location can't be beat. The hotel is just a short distance away from the Neuschwanstein Castle.

One of the highlights of the hotel is their made-to-order breakfast, a delicious way to start the day before heading out sightseeing or otherwise enjoying the surroundings.

The rooms were well-maintained and everything from the bed to the bathroom was pristine.

One aspect that really impressed me was the front desk staff. They arranged castle tour tickets for us. Just ask at check in and they will have them for you the next morning.

As for transportation, getting to the castle was easy. Either walk, take the bus, or a horse and carriage ride. Just a heads-up, the horse and carriage only accepts cash. Unfortunately, the hotel's ATM was out of order during our stay, but there was one located close to the ticket booth.

Also, I recommend making the short drive to Füssen. It's a charming spot with little shops, good food, and great views of the mountains.

Pro tip: take a pretzel from breakfast and enjoy it with a view of the castle

Wir sind nach einem Besuch von Schloss Neuschwanstein hier kurz eingekehrt. Wollte nur eine Kleinigkeit essen. Die Karte ist übersichtlich aber recht exquisit. Die Kässpatzen für 13,50 € hatten leider keinerlei Geschmack und die Portionsgröße war lächerlich für diesen Preis. Die Gulaschsuppe die ich mir bestellt habe war tatsächlich ausgezeichnet. Schlug aber auch für ein kleines Tässchen mit 10 € zu Buche. Ich schätze mal, damit muss man rechnen, in Schwangau, wo die Touristen einfach darauf angewiesen sind, dort zu essen. Das war uns auf jeden Fall eine Lektion, nicht mehr in Schwangau zu essen.

It is quite close to Neuschwanstein Castle. Other than that, there is nothing worthy of praise. The room items are old, the interior design quality is not good, and the service staff have a bad attitude. If you are not white, don't come.

Ich freue mich, meine Erfahrung in diesem Hotel zu teilen, denn es war wirklich bemerkenswert. Unser Aufenthalt war von Anfang bis Ende einfach fantastisch. Das Hotel strahlte eine angenehme Atmosphäre aus und war äußerst einladend. Der Service war absolut erstklassig - das Personal war freundlich, zuvorkommend und stand stets bereit, um jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Die Zimmer waren komfortabel und makellos sauber, und wir fühlten uns sofort wie zu Hause.

Das Highlight unseres Aufenthalts war definitiv das Essen. Es war schlichtweg phänomenal! Jede Mahlzeit war ein kulinarisches Erlebnis der Extraklasse. Die Qualität der Speisen war herausragend, und die Vielfalt der Gerichte ließ keine Wünsche offen. Ob Frühstück, Mittagessen oder Abendessen - jedes Gericht war frisch zubereitet, mit Liebe zum Detail und unglaublich lecker. Das Restaurantpersonal verdient ein besonderes Lob für ihren exzellenten Service und ihre Gastfreundschaft.

Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt im Hotel eine 1A-Erfahrung, die unsere Erwartungen bei weitem übertroffen hat. Ich kann dieses Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen und freue mich bereits auf meinen nächsten Besuch!

Ich war im Bistro und hab eine Portion Pommes gegessen. Die waren wirklich gut gewürzt! Dazu noch eine Cola.
Insgesamt sehr lecker und empfehlenswert!

This is a restaurant only review.The staff was very courteous and the ambience was also top class.Food was served quickly and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Walked in and asked for a table for 4. Extremely rude, and sat two groups of the same size that walked in after us. Didn’t bother eating here they have garbage service, and I’m sure the food is just as bad.
