Un moment hors du temps, partagé en petit comité (nous étions 6), qui restera longtemps gravé dans nos mémoires. Merci Éric pour ta pédagogie, ta bonne humeur et ton amour communicatif de l’océan. Foncez les yeux fermés !
Franchement c’était ????… c’est pour nous une excursion à faire absolument
Au bout d’une petite heure et demie de navigation, nous avons eu la chance de tomber sur un groupe impressionnant d’environ deux cents dauphins. Un spectacle incroyable, encore plus magique à vivre en compagnie de notre fille de cinq ans, fascinée par cette rencontre.
Nous n’avons pas eu la chance d’apercevoir d’autres animaux marins, mais c’est aussi cela la nature : rien n’est garanti, et cela rend la rencontre encore plus précieuse. La sortie s’est terminée sur une note douce et joyeuse, avec un petit planteur bien mérité partagé entre passagers. Un grand merci pour ce moment suspendu.

Explications très pédagogiques.
We did see a group of dolphins and 2 baby sperm whales, which was nice. But:
1) the skipper did not introduce himself.
2) did not give a safety briefing.
3) did not check who was on board.
4) did not provide safety vests. There were very young children 3-5 yrs old onboard who wouldn’t be able to swim if they went overboard.
5) sailed out downwind quite long. South of vieux port. So going back against increasing wind and waves was not pleasant at all. Even though he regularly checked and made changes to reduce the impact.
6) was standing on the side of the baot with his other foot on the steering wheel. No quick instructions on what to do if he would fall off.
He did give good explanations on the species to be expected.
He cancelled the afternoon tour… may be he should have cancelled the morning too.
