LA DIGUE ISLAND LODGE ^{* * * *}

Ottima posizione, Wi-Fi è a intermittenza. Le villette sono carine e il servizio è buono. Lascia a desiderare la struttura del ristorante, avrebbe bisogno di una ristrutturazione. La ristorazione è a self service.

During my Seychelles vacation I spent most of my time on La Digue and stayed 8 days at La Digue Island Lodge (I think one of the biggest on La Digue). The hotel complex is very nice. Beautiful well-kept garden with nice plants and flowers. It is centrally located on the west coast of La Digue. The center in the north is easily accessible on foot or by bike as is L'Union Estate Park in the southeast where Anse Source d'argent is. My room was very nice and clean (compliment to the room service). Also the bathroom. Bike rental is possible left in front of the main gate. The pool is also nice and you can enjoy every evening a wonderful sunset. Everyone was friendly. Especially the security was very nice. The negative things from my side is the food in the restaurant. It was quite delicious but every night nearly the same things at the buffet. And for a stay of 8 days it is a bit monotonous. Also the internet connection of the Wlan was only really good in the early morning. In the evening not useable. But I still recommend everyone to buy a Seychelles SIM Card at the airport on arrival. ;-) All in all a nice hotel. I recommend to book one of the little "tent rooms/houses". Quite cute!!!

Très agréable hôtel bien situé sur l'île ,on peut louer des vélos à la porte de l'hôtel pour 100 roupies (6 euros).Ne pas hésiter à réserver en chalet bord de plage ,ils viennent d'être rénovés avec une belle salle de bains extérieure ..La demi pension est intéressante ,on y mange très bien avec des buffets à thème le soir.

Effectivement, cet hotel n'exploite pas le vrai potentiel dont il dispose. Très beau jardin tropical et bien situé au calme, par contre le service n'est pas à la hauteur, en tout cas pas pour un 4 étoiles; Le nourriture au buffet est vraiment très peu varié, le service est vraiment limite, peu de personnel et parfois faisant son boulot à point c'est tout. Ce qui d'autant plus bizarre que le restau de la piscine servi à la carte n'a rien à voir. Bon, personnel attentive on a pas l'impression d'être dans le même hotel. Dommage car avec un service identique sur tout l'hotel cela pourrait être un hotel de rêve. Agréable séjour malgré tout mais surement un peu cher pour le service et la qualité rendu. IL faut le savoir.

plein de bungalows qui sont bien intégrés dans le paysage,il faut bien repérer le sien!! les chambres sont grandes, salle de bain un peu vieillotte et la plage pas très grande. l'hotel est idéalement placé, il est tout proche a la source d'argent
