KUNDUCHI BEACH HOTEL

Our tent was beautiful with a lovely view. We stayed 4 nights (9/1/22-9/4/22). You really felt in the wild here and at night, you could hear the wildebeest walking right around the tent. It was fun watching the wildebeest, zebras, and mongoose right from our private deck. It has a very intimate, wild feel to the place, yet it is luxurious. The lounge tent was spectacular in its safari decorations. The staff were wonderful, in particular, Brighton our butler. He taught us useful Swahili terms and made sure we were happy. Brighton set up private breakfast outside under a net tent that was so wonderful. One night they had the guests have dinner outside by a bonfire, really fun. The food was terrific. The only thing you should know is that they charge for drinks, including water ordered outside the 2 liters they give you every day in your tent. The drinks and water were inexpensive, and did not at all detract from our enjoyment. We loved staying here.

The interior is very well made, with a big, comfy bed and all amenities you'd find in a "normal" room.
5*, considering it's still a tent, even though a luxury option, so there are minor drawbacks like the shower. Like all other accommodations we stayed in during our trip to Tanzania mid August, it got very chilly at night and, consequently, chilly inside also.
The staff was very accommodating and helpful. They were particularly attentive in walking us from and to the tent at night, due to the camp being set in Serengeti and no fence to keep wildlife at bay. Having a tourist eaten by a lion could have probably been detrimental to the business, so we appreciated how adamant they were about us not walking alone at night.

Geweldige ervaring om hier te verblijven. Prachtig gelegen en veel wilde dieren. De buffels grazen naast de tent en de leeuwen maken een wandelingetje over het terrein. Het eten is lekker en goed maar geen wow factor. Maar dat doet aan niets af. Service van personeel meer dan vriendelijk en iedereen krijgt een personal waiter. De onze was Godlisten. Hé did a gread job. Het kwam ons aan niets te kort en hij stond altijd klaar. GEWELDIGE ERVARING.
Prachtich plek vanwaaruit mooie drives te doen zijn.

Nous y avons passé 3 nuits dans le cadre de notre lune de miel. Le camp est niché dans le Serengeti juste à côté de la route de migration, un si beau cadre.

Notre "tente" était un palais !! Joliment meublé avec une belle salle de bain, impeccablement propre et les oreillers les plus confortables !! Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les prévisions météorologiques laissées avec des chocolats au coucher chaque soir avec l'aimable autorisation de Johari.

Nous avons vraiment apprécié les boissons au bar avant le dîner chaque soir, et waouh la nourriture !! Vraiment une belle variété et après que le voyagiste m'ait accidentellement réservé pour le voyage en tant que végétalien et que le camp m'ait soigneusement pris en charge le premier jour jusqu'à ce que je comprenne ce qui s'était passé, je suis convaincu qu'ils prennent les régimes au sérieux! Les déjeuners emballés pour le safari chaque jour étaient délicieux.

Être si près de la faune a été une expérience unique (le personnel qui gardait le camp a fait un travail fantastique, je me sentais tellement en sécurité, même en entendant les lions la nuit).

Mais le clou de notre séjour devait être le personnel. Tous incroyablement chaleureux et accueillants, mais en particulier grâce à Benard, Tharmo, Everson et Gift. Je ne vous spoilerai pas, mais votre surprise lors de la dernière nuit a été inoubliable et restera avec nous pour le reste de nos vies.

À tous ceux qui souhaitent réserver un séjour dans le Serengeti, je recommande sans réserve ici.
