My family and I visited The Farmhouse and I must say, it was breathtakingly amazing. We had two chalets that were clean and comfortable. The management and staff are very friendly and accommodating. We did a self driven game drive and the trail was so smooth, considering that we used a low vehicle. We saw so many animals and our kids were captivated and amused the entire time. The food was delicious, however, I recommend they look into different menu options. The pool is set in a beautiful scene.
The atmosphere was so relaxing and I was sad to leave lol. If you looking for a perfect getaway where you can unplug and enjoy nature, I highly recommend The Farmhouse.

Just excellent; beautiful lodge a short drive from Bulawayo, impressive work to protect the wild life and almost guaranteed to see zebra, giraffe, warthog and antelope even if -like me - you are only there for work. Friendly management with further improvements up their sleeves.

Great place at the edge of the matopos national park. We went fo a day visit, the owner gave us a very warm welcome. There are a lots of animals, much more than in the adjacent national park. This is the only place in Zimbabwe where we saw Giraffes, our children loved it.

If you need a relaxing, chilled, quiet, with a good view and also an adventure filled place, The Farm is for you. Their Chalets are on-point, and if you need that camping experience they got you covered ????

Whouaaash ! WHAT A PLACE ! After almost 6 months through different African countries, this campsite has reached the top 5. Great owner and managers, the campsite is deep into the rock formations and on top of the best view point possible. They call it the “World view “ and it is totally justified. We stay 2 nights by ourselves. Surrounded by nature and wildlife that you can observe via a big network of well marked trails and hard sandy roads. Many view points and lookouts. Absolutely no need to pay for park entry fee as everything is in their property and you won t see anyone but wild life. Giraffes, gnous, impalas, kudus, zebras, … to name only few. So great that you want to keep that place secret but it won t be fair for the love that the owners and managers are putting in it. If you have not stay in the Farmhouse- worldview lodge/camp, … you have not seen Zimbabwe ????

Beautiful place nestled in the Matobo Hills.
Great for camping, reasonably priced rooms and extremely clean rooms and ablutions. Great food and even greater company.
Highly recommend it if you want to switch off as the internet connection isn't great in the area in general????.
Go out there and visit!!

The Farmhouse is absolutely amazing...we camped at The Platform viewing area and the campsite...best campsite we've found overlanding for 8 months.. their chalets, too, are very reasonable...you won't be disappointed with 3 days relaxing here....

The Farmhouse is a beautiful place, with lots of animals, great campsites and VERY clean ablutions. Roads very well signposted. We drove all over in our CRV so 4×4 is not needed. There is a swimming pool near the restaurant. The campsites are very well kept. There are tables, chairs and braais (barbecues) all over. Ablutions all incredibly clean. Shower heads need a big wash though. Our wood didn't get restocked so we had to go scavenging for some. Before you want hot water you have to get the boiler going. The wood wasn't restocked for the boiler either. You get given a map at reception when you pay which needs to be returned when leaving. There is a feeding area at 16:00 which is marked as "Feeding" on the map. No soap in the showers or at the basin, so be sure to bring sponges, drying towels, dish soap and body soap. Don't forget a First Aid Kit, just in case. I highly recommend The Framhouse!

Can't comment on accomodations because it was a day trip but the animal viewing experience is simply awesome

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was very good. You see more animals than when you go round the Matopos.
We will definitely visit again when we are back in Zimbabwe
