Beautiful place, quiet, just birds and monkeys and the Bunga forest around. Exceptional views from the camping plot, towards MOZ. We could use the old (and empty) "Crimsonwing" structure for bathroom and solar shower, and for shelter during rain. Firewood and braai provided, bird walks with local expert Buluwezi 5ppph recommended. Owner Ken is very friendly and helpful, free Wifi at reception (uphill).
Currently no power at campsite because lightning struck, chalets have solar power.

Basic and comfortable accommodation, Hosts very welcoming and friendly. Very picturesque and beautiful forest and vegetation. Exquisite bird life. Will certainly go back????????

Seldom Seen is the ideal getaway for people wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of every day life. When you stay here you will be absolutely surrounded by forest and birdsong. The cottages are rustic, charming and nostalgic but stocked with everything necessary for comfortable a self-catering holiday. Ken is the warmest host and incredibly knowledgable about Zimbabwean flora and fauna. One can easily spend hours walking the many forest trails where the nature is untouched and unspoiled.

Ken & Sue are wonderful hosts at this magical place set in the forest
High above sea level in winter becomes a cool misty environment. Ideally positioned if you are a forest bird enthusiast or alternatively just want some time to yourselves.
Wonderful breakfasts and dinners to keep you going.
